El día que todo cambió: renacer antes del bungee

"I forbid you from being my mate." Alpha Wymond spatted. He's the Lycan king of The Lycan Keepers clan.

Ophelia widened her eyes on hearing him say that, she scratched her head having it in mind that she isn't thinking straight.

"Mate? Am I your mate?" She asked him anxiously.

She hasn't shifted for the first time now that she turned eighteen, neither does she perceive scents like other wolves.

Alpha Wymond stood on his feet, he was darn furious to hear her ask those silly questions.

"Why the heck did you cross the boundary, you filthy thing?" He screeched at her, but she stepped backwards.

"I am not filthy." Those words escaped her throat instantly, then followed by a heavy slap that landed her to the floor.

"First, you're a werewolf. Second, you're wolf less. Third, you're weak." He read to her.

She wiped the tears on her cheek. She knew that it was all true, it's her eighteenth birthday yet she couldn't shift for the first time. She wouldn't be able to sense her mate as well.

Hearing the Lycan king referring to her as his mate seems awkward.

How on earth will the moon goddess mate a Lycan and werewolf when they're enemies?

"I'm sorry, but it wasn't my fault." She cried out.

He got seated on the king's sized sofa. "Now tell me you weak thing, how did you get into this clan? Aren't you aware that werewolves and Lycans are enemies?" His voice thundered causing Ophelia to shiver in fear.

She got on her knees. "I'm very sorry, I was only running away from my pack because I couldn't shift, not knowing when I crossed the boundary." Hot ball of tears rushed down her cheeks.

The king stared at her face for a while, she was indeed beautiful. Her succulent skin, long dark hair, sexy shaped lips and straight eyebrows.

He bit his lips.

Despite how charming she seemed to be, that hatred runs in his blood. He hates her damn much, and would never make a weak and wolf-less werewolf his Luna.

Besides, he already has a lover, but was longing to know how it feels to have a mate, only for him to meet someone he would detest as a mate.

"You aren't supposed to leave this pack alive, but for the sake of being my mate, I'll let you go." He stood up. "And don't forget that you're rejected, I don't ever want to see you again, neither will you tell anyone whom you're mated to."

Ophelia nodded, if that would be the only condition for her to be set free, then she would abide by it.

A wolf-less and weak Omega like her has no reason to be mated to a great Lycan king who had turned out to be her nightmare.

"Leave this pack now." He ordered her.

She nodded in fear and took to her heels, running as fast as she could.

"I've been longing to see my mate like others, only for the moon goddess to give me a Lycan as a mate. I wonder what my life is up to." She thought and blinked repeatedly, letting the tears roll down.

She doesn't have a wolf, she is an orphan left with just a brother.

Living in the pack has been hell to them since their parents died. The whole pack had believed that she was responsible for the death of her parents.

Meanwhile, she had swore to get to the root of everything. She must take revenge on anyone responsible for her parents death.

She arrived in The Summit pack and went straight to their home to see her brother sitting outside, shedding tears.

"I had thought that the wolves would devour you since you couldn't shift. I was worried about you." Axel fell into her arms in tears.

She ran her fingers in his hair.

"I ran and found myself in the Lycans clan."

Axel lifted his face. "Father said that they are our enemies, don't let anyone hear this."

"The Lycan king is my mate, and he rejected me because I'm not just a werewolf, but I'm wolf-less and weak." She broke into tears again.

Axel patted her back. "You should be glad he didn't kill you." He stared at her face. "Isn't it time to give our Alpha king a chance? He really loves you."

Ophelia went dumb.

~ THE LYCAN KEEPERS CLAN~

The next morning, the king was still laying on his bed recalling how he got in sight with his mate.

"Bullshit! Isn't this disastrous to recall? She's so lucky I didn't tear her into pieces or strangle her to death." He cursed, squeezing the bed cover.

He got down from the bed feeling annoyed, but he stepped on a bracelet on the floor.

"This must be hers." He picked it up and began staring at it. "I don't even know her name, how then will I locate her and hand it back to her? Nothing that belongs to the werewolves should be in this pack." He threw it on the table.

He left for the bathroom and took a fresh shower. He was shocked to see his guard standing at the door when he stepped out.

"Your majesty, the high priestess is here to see you." The guard announced.

He furrowed his brows. "The high priestess? This early morning?"

The guard nodded.

"Okay, tell her that I'll be there soon. I need to have my clothes on."

The guard bowed and left.

He got dressed quickly and then he moved to his chamber to see the priestess on her feet. Although, she doesn't seat when she visits.

"Your Majesty…" the priestess bowed.

He nodded, smiling. "What brought you here this early morning?" He queried her curiously.

This is the first time she's paying such an early visit.

"The moon goddess had dropped a message to you before noon, and that's the reason I'm here this early."

He arched his brows. "The moon goddess? Before noon?" He took a deep breath. "What's the message about?"

The priestess lifted her face. "She has given you twenty one days to crown your Luna."

"Oh! I already have that in mind, I've found who will be my Luna." He chapped in.

"Your Luna must be your mate, or you'll lose this throne." She concluded and turned immediately.

His eyes widened. "Loose what? The throne that I just fought to get from the traitor huh?" He bit his lips while watching the priestess leave.

That will never happen. He can't lose his throne after everything he has done to get it back to himself.
