Isabella sat before her mirror, applying makeup as she had learned online. She was only going to the grocery store, but wanted to dress up elegantly, hoping to catch Jack's eyes.

She styled her hair into a ponytail, and accessorized it with her expensive hair clips she had bought the day before, from the money Victor Mason sent her to look the part of a billionaire wife. She applied her lipstick and put on her gold wristwatch. A satisfying smile spread across her face as she admired her reflection in the mirror – she looked exceptionally beautiful. Without makeup Isabella always looked attractive, but with it, she was almost irresistible.

Just as she was finishing up, a gentle knock came on her door. “Yes, come in,” Isabella replied and Nancy, the head house servant, entered the room.

Grace sat before her laptop, glancing through the company's monthly reports. Occasionally, she nodded and jotted down notes on the paper in front of her. Her attention was interrupted by the sound of her secretary’s voice, pleading in a tone that made her eyes widened in confusion. “I don't want to be sacked, please,” she heard. Just as she stood up to go check what was happening, her door burst open, and Victor strode in, his angry expression softening to pleading eyes as he met Grace's gaze. Grace let out a loud, frustrated hiss and sat down back. “Are you here with the signed divorce paper?” She asked coldly, not meeting Victor's eyes. “You really want to divorce me at this age?” Victor asked gently, taking his seat in front of her. Grace raised her head, her piercing, angry gaze locked on Victor’s. “If I’ll get my peace of mind by divorcing you, then I'll gladly do it,” she said, her voice cold and detached. She returned her attention to her PC, her fingers flying over the ke

Jill's anger boiled over as his bodyguard returned to inform him that Ashley's security had refused to let them in. “Did he give you a reason?” He asked, his face twisted in rage. “He said Miss Ashley had instructed him not to open the door for…you,” The bodyguard said with his head lowered. A low, menacing chuckle rumbled in Jill’s throat as he clenched his fist. Ashley’s sudden cold shoulder had started after she had lost the investment opportunity to Jack. “Open the door,” Jill growled, his voice low and deadly. His Bodyguard quickly got the car door opened for him and he stepped down, pounding the ground with furious steps. “Open this gate,” Jill bellowed at Ashley’s security, his voice sending a shiver down the man’s spine. “Miss Ashley would get me sacked if I did,” the security stammered, his body trembling with fear. Jill's jaw clenched in rage, his fist tightened. With a swift signal to his bodyguard, he lunged at the security without hesitation, delivering a brutal pu

Victor Mason woke up to find Grace’s side of the bed empty, which was unusual as she was a late riser. Groggily, he sat up and yawned, calling out, “Darling, are you in the bathroom?” But there was no response. Still half asleep, he got up and went to check on her. His gaze landed on the wardrobe, and his eyes widened in confusion – Grace's side was almost empty. He rushed over to confirm what he was seeing, and clearly enough, most of Grace's dresses were gone, and a letter lay in plain sight. With a racing heart, he snatched up the letter, and tore open the envelope. His eyes scanned the content and his heart skipped a beat as he stared at a divorce paper. His body stiffened, frozen in shock as he tried to make sense of what was happening— Grace had disappeared without any explanation, but a divorce paper. They had been good before going to bed; what could have happened? Had Isabella confessed to her? Victor's anger boiled over as he grabbed his phone, his fingers trembling wit

She's scared, Papa. Scared for the family.”“Why can't you just tell her whatever it is?” She stammered, her voice breaking. Victor’s jaw clenched, his eyes had already turned red from anger. “You think you can tell me what to do?” he spat, his voice dangerously low. “I love my wife so much and that's why I'm doing all this. Isabella, be careful.” “Then leave me out of this,” Isabella snapped, her voice choking with tears. “I don't feel safe with you again. I wake up scared everyday. Please, let me do my life if you're not ready to open up to your family.” she pleaded, her voice trembling as tears streamed down her face. Victor's eyes narrowed, his voice low. “If you love your parents, zip you
