“I heard that your mother-in-law stopped by, David.” Mrs. Smith said, his mother drinks from her cup of tea prepared by her own personal maid.

She was clad on a sophisticated formal dress that was hugging her curves, although she was already at 45 years of age. The older woman looks much younger, but it is her strict face that repelled some to approach her, nor having any thoughts in mind to dare talk to the might Mrs. Smith.

“They did.” David held no surprise, when his mother brings up the subject. He knew her well, but what made him curious is the fact that she summoned him out of nowhere…just for what? To have a tea?

No, somethings definitely going on.

“—But I just wanted to ask why call me here in your office?” He continued.

He’s no fool.

“Very well, always skeptical, son.” Mrs. Smith seems satisfied. “But bueno, since you are asking, let me return he question back to you, David.”

“What’s going on, Ma?” David frowns.
