Chapter 45: The Priestess and the Desert

Meru was flabbergasted at the result of his short battle with Mazoi. He curled his fists and clenched his jaw in fury. He remembered what the Medjay said to him while they were fighting. It was mind boggling. He did not even pay attention to Priestess Nehes who saved him from the elite seer’s unleashing of the phoenixes.

Priestess Nehes left him alone and contemplated on what she would do to defeat the elite seer. They were one priest down already. No one saw it coming.

Priestess Ahotep helped Priestess Nofretete heal the wounds in her thighs. She was still shrieking until the wounds were healed completely.

“The young foreigner witch priestess is really something!” Priestess Ahotep uttered.

“I shall get her to pay for this!” Priestess Nofretete vowed angrily.

“And I shall avenge my brother!” the sorcerer priest affirmed indignantly.

Priestess Ahotep just smiled
