" Finally, some vengeance for mom," Xara muttered under her breath as she saw the news that her dad had been murdered by one of his inmates. She had never been able to let go of the hatred she had for him in her heart. Yes, her mom may not have been the best person on earth, but it was his fault. It was that man she called her father who changed her into the bitter person she was. But when she realized it wasn't worth it, he killed her.

" Hey, ange---" Kai turned off the television set and sat closer to his wife, hugging her.

"How do you feel?" he asked.

" Honestly, is it bad that I feel no emotion? Actually, I'm relieved that he's dead. He wasn't the best father to me or the best husband to my mom. He deserves this and more." Xara said.

" No, it doesn't. He made you feel this way towards him, but it's your choice to forgive him and rid yourself of this hatred and bitterness." Kai advised.

" Thanks, baby," she smiled.
