He takes his glasses off, handing his notepad to the nurse that followed behind. “Chris, how is she?” Mr Richard hurries over to him, the rest of us following behind. Emilia’s POVMy eyes fluttered open, the blinding sunlight from the window causing me to close them back. I try once again, slowly this time until my eyes adjust to the light. The curtains had been drawn already, which meant that Kate was here a few minutes ago.
