Emily and Tyler sat in silence, completely different thoughts on both their minds.

They were far from having the night both of them planned. Emily’s legs were crossed, wondering if Giovanni had seen her text and without telling her, decided to cancel their date just like that. Tyler on the other hand was left to wonder if staying at home was any different from being at Emily’s as they both refused to utter even a single word to each other.

The tension between them was evident and impossible to ignore. Emily had things to say she wasn’t saying and Tyler had things to do he wasn’t doing.
