The forbidden forest.

In the aftermath of her triumphant trials, Emma was eager to further explore her newfound abilities and deepen her connection to the Moonrise Legacy.

More than ever, she felt a connection with them, even though there were still a lot of unanswered questions.

“There is a place where you must visit Emma. There are sights that you must see.” High Elder Selene said to Emma.

“You must survive this journey Emma.” High Elder Selene said to Emma in a low tone, as she placed her hands on her shoulders.

With the guidance of High Elder Selene, she embarked on the journey into the heart of the Forbidden Forest.

The Forbidden Forest was shrouded in mystery and danger, its dense foliage concealing ancient secrets and formidable creatures. It was a place where very few werewolves dared to venture, but Emma was undeterred.

“My blood will keep me safe.” Emma said to herself in a loud voice.

“The spirit of the ancient guardians is with me.” She said again.

She knew that within its depths, she would discover valuable knowledge and confront formidable challenges that would shape her destiny.

As Emma stepped into the forest, an eerie silence enveloped her. The air grew heavy, and the sounds of rustling leaves and distant cries of unknown creatures filled her ears. She summoned her courage and pressed forward, her instincts guiding her through the labyrinthine paths.

The forest seemed alive, its twisted branches reaching out like skeletal fingers, and strange whispers echoed through the trees. Emma remained steadfast, her connection to the moon lending her strength and resilience.

~THE ASKARI BATTLE.

Suddenly, a pack of ferocious werewolves emerged from the shadows, behind Emma their eyes gleaming with feral hunger.

It was time for Emma to utilize her training.

As the surrounded her, the moon slowly began to cover them.

Emma had read about the Askari’s beforehand, and so she knew. This was a battle for blood.

At this juncture, he that fears to kill, shall be killed.

Emma's heart raced as she realized she was facing her own kind, but corrupted by dark forces.

The Askari battle was not a mundane battle.

This battle had been the reason why the moonrise clan had been without an heir for the past 3000 years.

No one had been able to survive.

The best of the warriors that faced them only lived to testify of the brutal force that they were.

And here Emma was, facing what she thought was the most dreaded Spirit clan.

The Askaris were more Spirit than they were wolves. They had the speed of the wind, and the agility of six tigers in one body.

They had claws like eagles and lions combined.

Trying to describe them would be like trying to write a mystical book, but they were real, and the deaths of those who had faced them was enough proof.

“What do you seek, you filthy mortal? Your blood reeks of impurity! How are you the one that is to come?” The Alpha Spirit of the ASKARI spoke through the wind.

“I am the one that is to come. You need not wait for another. Show yourself you demon!” Emma said in a loud and confident voice.

Suddenly, Emma’s ears captured reckless laughter in the wind.

“You mortal! I see that you’ve chosen death! Those with pure blood did not cross this line and you dare think you’re any better?” The Demon leader said in a roaring voice?

“Let me through, or this will be the last of you, you filthy demon.” Emma said strongly.

“How dare you speak to me in such a manner?”

Suddenly, three odd looking beings appeared in front of her.

They had eyes on their hands on their feet, and one wing on their backs.

These beings had one eye but on the forehead.

They had hands that were as sharp as knives, and their sight alone was enough to cause Emma to break down in fear.

Suddenly, her ears began to catch whispers of a voice that she had never heard before.

“SASIK, EKNOK, EKVOCK, LAIL.”

The Language of the Moonrise Legacy found it’s way into her ears, but from a voice she had never heard.

“THE SPIRIT OF THE ANCIENTS LIE WITHIN YOUR SPIRIT OH GUARDIAN. PREVAIL!”

‘With this, the spirits and strength of the former must be with me.”

The beasts began to charge towards Emma, but she stayed still, and closed her eyes.

Suddenly, a straight line came down to her head from the moon.

“The Takashi move.”

When Emma trained, she had learnt how to harness the power of the moon for her battles. And now, the beast are going to taste her fury.

Before they could strike, Emma opened her eyes, and plucked out the eye on their foreheads.

Like a battery, Emma was charged!

All three eyes were on the ground, but the battle was far from over.

Emma’s hair suddenly started turning white, growing till it began to sweep the ground.

Her claws had become sharp from her training. Now they started to grow longer.

This was not a battle that they could win and they knew.

But death was their portion, and Emma was the messenger.

Emma charged towards them, slitting their throat like a trained swordsman.

She didn’t give them the chance to see her coming.

Immediately, their bodies fell to the ground, with blood all over the ground.

“ASKARI! Come and pick your children!” Emma said with a loud voice, as she wiped their blood from her hands.

However, there was no response.

ASKARI never fights without the three beasts. They were a part of him.

And wherever they are, there he was.

With each adversary she defeated in the forbidden forest, Emma's confidence grew. She tapped into the essence of the Moonrise Legacy, embracing her true potential as the chosen one. Her movements were fluid, her instincts honed, and she emerged victorious, the corrupted werewolves retreating into the darkness.

As Emma caught her breath, she noticed a flickering light at the heart of the forest. Curiosity compelled her to investigate it, leading her to a hidden clearing. In its center stood a mysterious stone altar, bathed in moonlight.

That was what she was here for.

She could feel it.

~THE KAKO STONE.

Approaching the altar, Emma felt a surge of energy coursing through her. She placed her hands upon the stone, and visions flooded her mind. They revealed ancient rituals and forgotten wisdom, revealing the true power of the Moonrise Legacy and the responsibility she carried.

With newfound clarity, Emma realized that her role as the chosen one went beyond protecting her pack. She had a duty to safeguard the delicate balance between the supernatural world and the human realm, to be a beacon of hope and guidance for all who were lost in darkness.

As Emma left the Forbidden Forest with the stone, she carried with her the weight of her revelations. The path ahead would be challenging, but she was now more determined than ever to embrace her destiny and fulfill her purpose.

“I made it High Elder Selene. Here is the stone.”

Immediately, High Elder Selene rose up from her seat, and walked towards Emma…

“If only I could cry. Welcome oh Great Leader Emma.” She said to Emma as she bowed.
