Aria
Someone coughed next to me, so I turned my attention to him.
"I suppose it's time to make my decision now," he said. It was the same man who came with Alpha Aldric. "I am Nathan, Alpha Aldric's Beta," he said.
"I don't care to know you or your Asshole Alpha," I snarled. My mind was clouded with worry. My poor sister, she must be so scared right now.
Nathan grinned. "Oh? You are a feisty one."
"Fuck you!" I hissed through tears.
"Alright, then. You won me over. I pick you," Nathan said and grabbed my hand.
Another cough nearby.
"Excuse me, Beta Nathan. You will still have to bid on her. This is an auction, remember?" the auctioneer interjected.
"Oh, right. But I still get to say what my bid is, right?" Nathan asked.
"Right."
"I bid two hundred gold coins," Nathan said.
"Three hundred!" some old fool shouted.
As Nathan's grip tightened on my hand, I couldn't help but feel a rush of resentment towards him. He was associated with the very person who had taken my sister away, Alpha Aldric.
"Let go of my hand. You didn't win me yet," I hissed under my breath.
Nathan grinned. "But you want me to win."
"Why would I want you to win?" I said. I stared at him with confusion.
"I thought you were smarter than that, Aria. I belong to Alpha Aldric's pack, so if I take you home with me, you get to see your sister again," he said.
Nathan's words hit me like a lightning bolt, momentarily shattering my anger and confusion. My sister—seeing her again was the only thought that had been consuming my mind since the moment she was taken away. Could it be that Nathan was offering me a chance to reunite with her?
"You're telling me that if you win this auction, you'll take me to my sister?" I asked, my voice trembling with a mixture of hope and doubt.
Nathan nodded, his smile still playing on his lips. "That's right, Aria. I may be part of Alpha Aldric's pack, but I have my own reasons for wanting to help you. We'll find a way to get your sister back, but we need to play our cards right in this auction."
I weighed the options in my mind. On one hand, Nathan was connected to the man responsible for our separation, but on the other, he seemed genuinely willing to assist me. The auction was far from over, and the bids were still climbing. If I could use this opportunity to get closer to my sister, it might be worth the risk.
With a reluctant nod, I whispered, "What are you waiting for? Outbid that man!" I growled.
Nathan chuckled and turned to the auctioneer. "Five hundred!" he shouted.
The room fell silent for a moment, as the auctioneer considered Nathan's bid. The tension in the air was palpable, and I held my breath, hoping that Nathan's offer would be enough to secure my freedom and, more importantly, my sister's.
The auctioneer finally nodded and announced, "Five hundred gold coins going once... going twice..." My heart pounded in my chest, and I couldn't tear my eyes away from the auctioneer. This was the moment that would determine my fate.
"One thousand!" that same old man shouted.
What the hell! Why doesn't he go find someone his own age?
Nathan was hesitating, so I glared at him. "What are you doing? Why aren't you outbidding him?" I asked.
"I don't know. You are a bit mouthy, so I am not sure if I want you anymore," he said in a teasing tone.
I couldn't believe what I was hearing. This wasn't the time for jokes or hesitation. My sister's safety hung in the balance, and I had to do whatever it took to secure my freedom and keep my promise to her.
"But you said you liked me feisty!" I screeched.
"I'd also prefer you to be more submissive," he said.
I had to convince him I was worth it! "I can be submissive. I will be submissive. Please, just outbid!" I said desperately.
"Alright, so since no one else is bidding, one hundred coins going once, going twice..." the auctioneer continued, much to my panic.
"Five thousand!" Nathan said and grinned.
Nathan's sudden increase in the bid to five thousand gold coins left the room in stunned silence. My heart raced as I realized he was making a serious commitment to secure my freedom. Relief washed over me. Maybe he was serious about helping me.
The auctioneer, surprised by the unexpected turn of events, quickly caught on and announced, "Five thousand gold coins going once... going twice..." The gavel came down with a resounding thud. Nathan had won the bid, and I was now his to take home.
Nathan turned to me with a grin. "Looks like I'm taking you home, Aria, so you better behave."
I held my anger back. I needed to be nice to him now. At least until I saw my sister and found a way to escape Alpha Aldric. "Yeah...thanks."
"That wasn't a very convincing thank you, but I will give you another chance to thank me properly later," he whispered in my ear.
Fear coursed through me, but unfortunately, I felt my body respond to his words.
"Let's go then," he said, and I followed him without saying another word.

The name "Blood Diamond" had given me grim expectations, but what I saw was a stark contrast to what I had imagined.
The scenery was breathtaking. Lush, untouched forests stretched as far as the eye could see. A crystal-clear river flowed through the land.
The pack's territory seemed like a hidden paradise, untouched by the chaos of the world outside.
"Much better than where you used to live, right?" Nathan commented.
"You wish!" I snarled even though inside, I admitted he was right.
I was even more shocked when we arrived in front of a mansion. "This is where you live?" I gasped.
"Welcome to your new home, sweetcheeks. It's as if you were always meant to be here with me," he said sweetly, his eyes twinkling.
I glared at him. "Take me to see my sister now. You promised you will reunite me with her!"
"Ahh, well, that just wouldn't be very obedient of you now, would it? You and I both know Alpha Aldric won't like that," he said smiling devilishly and took a lock of my hair in his hand.
I felt a shiver run down my spine as he brushed his lips against the lock of hair. He looked back up at me with a mischievous glint in his eye. "First, you need to give me my payment."
I arched an eyebrow. "Payment?"
"I paid a lot of money to save you from that old hag. So I deserve some payment," he said.
I groaned. "What do you want?"
"Well, follow me into my bedroom, and I will explain what I want," he grinned.
"Fine, I'll follow you into your bedroom, but you better come up with something I can fucking agree to," I muttered.
He raised his eyebrow as I spoke, but he began to lead me into his bedroom nevertheless.
He eyed me with a mischievous look in his green eyes before quickly pinning me to his bed. "I've done some research about you, and I learned that you are a brave and headstrong woman."
I'm pretty sure I blushed at that. "What does that have to do with anything?"
"In order to pay me, you need to be obedient and submissive. You will have to please me," he explained.
Of course. He wanted me to sleep with him. What else did I expect?
DestinyI locked my gaze with his, feeling my heart slam against my chest. He stood tall and menacing, seeming to grow larger and more imposing with each passing second as his broad shoulders seemed to swell and stretch. There was nothing but silence between us, and I found myself unable to move or break the spell of our shared stare.I still didn't know how to process this. I was standing in front of the notorious Alpha King, and he was supposed to be my mate? What kind of joke was Moon Goddess playing on me?"What is your name?" he asked. His voice sounded deep and gravelly. King of rough, almost like shattered glass. I don't know how else to describe it.I gulped, unwilling to speak to him, but I didn't want to anger him with my silence. "Destiny."Alpha Aldric scoffed as if he disapproved of my name. In his world, names had power and significance, and he must have judged mine lacking in some way. However, I knew better than to argue or defend myself - any display of weakness or d
Aria"What if I don't do what you asked me to do?" I said defiantly.Nathan shrugged. "Then, I guess you never get to see your sister again."Asshole..."Fine," I said, sighing. "What do you want me to do?" I asked. At this point, I am willing to do whatever it takes to get back to my sister. Then, I will plan an escape with her. I knew she was somewhere in this house. I could almost feel her presence.Nathan's voice cut like a knife, sharp and demanding. "Strip," he ordered, his dark eyes drilling into mine with a wicked gleam. My stomach twisted in disgust as I scowled at him. "Excuse me?" I shot back, gripping the edge of my dress with white-knuckled hands. But Nathan didn't waver. He took a step closer, his gaze still locked onto mine. "Take your dress off," he repeated, his voice low and insistent. "I want to see if you are as beautiful without clothes on."The air around us seemed to crackle with tension, and I could feel my pulse racing as I stared up at him. The weight of his
DestinyI held the dress in my hands, and a wave of disgust and anger washed over me. The dress is a symbol of the objectification and degradation they intended for me.It's a deep red color, and the fabric is sheer and lightweight, like a piece of tissue paper, so thin you can almost see through it.I knew without doubt that this was not a dress fit for any lady. Alpha Aldric must've hand-picked this so he could gawk at my body all he wanted.Disgusting.I put the dress on and stared at myself in the mirror. To my sister, I was complaining about how I didn't look good enough for anyone to like me, and now here I was, feeling even more disgusted at myself as I dressed like a whore. I took a deep breath and reminded myself that this wasn't me. This was the role I had to play to survive this ordeal. To survive Alpha Aldric.Alpha Aldric would pay for what he did to our family. Every time I thought of my parents, tears threatened to spill from my eyes. I knew they would have never wante
AriaI slowly blinked my eyes open, greeted by the soft morning light filtering through the curtains. My initial grogginess began to fade as I became aware of my surroundings. But as I tried to stretch and shift my body, I quickly realized that something was different today.I couldn't move.Panic fluttered in my chest as I felt the unmistakable sensation of two strong arms wrapped securely around me, pinning me to the bed.The arms holding me felt warm and comforting, but the lack of control over my own body left me feeling vulnerable and anxious. I struggled to free myself, wriggling slightly, but those arms only tightened their hold. And then I remembered. I was sleeping in the same bed as Nathan last night, and he must have been hugging me in his sleep."Ugh...let go of me, you Brute!" I groaned and tried to free myself from his embrace, but he seemed to hold me even tighter."Five more minutes," he mumbled into my hair, his voice heavy with drowsiness and a hint of playfulness.H
DestinyAnd just like that, my sister was gone again. My heart was broken, but at the same time, I was glad she was safe. She looked good, her inner strength intact. I admired her for it because she wasn't weak like me.But now that she was gone, I was alone again, alone with the devil himself.I broke into tears as I remembered what had conspired last night between Alpha Aldric and me. The way he spanked me until my rear was red and raw. I purposely hid it from Aria because I didn't want to worry her, but now I kind of wish I told her. Hours passed, and I was left alone in the small room. I had nothing to occupy my time except for my thoughts. My mind kept wandering back to my family and friends, and I couldn't help but feel a sense of loss and despair.I tried to distract myself by exploring the room, but there was nothing of interest. The bed was uncomfortable, and the desk had nothing on it except for a few sheets of paper and a pen. I sat down at the desk and picked up the pen,
Aria "I have to get Destiny out of there before the Alpha King eats her alive," I said to Nathan. After my grim visit with Destiny, I knew I had to hurry. She didn't look hurt from the outside, but her face was pale, and I knew she was in distress. "We can't sit here and let him torture her. Destiny isn't as strong as I am and..." "Yes, I get it," Nathan interrupted me. "But we can't just barge in and snatch her away from Alpha Aldric. We need to strategize this carefully." His voice was measured and composed, a stark contrast to my frantic desperation. I leaned against the tree, the rough bark digging into my back, my mind racing. "I know. We can't afford to make a hasty move. But what's our plan, Nathan? How do we save her?" Nathan shifted his weight, his gaze locked onto mine. "First, we need to gather information. Find out as much as we can about Aldric's schedule, his weaknesses, anything that can give us an edge." "You are his Beta. Shouldn't you know all that already?" I
Aldric"Don't you think you are a bit hard on the girl, Alpha Aldric?" one of my pack mates dared to question.I bared my teeth, snarling at him with enough force to make him flinch back in terror. "She is mine. I can do whatever I damn well please with her.""But Alpha..."I whirled around to face him, my eyes blazing with furious anger. The veins in my neck bulged from the sheer rage coursing through me. "Are you testing me, Jeremy? Do you have a death wish or something? Don't tell me you are sweet on my mate because if you are, there will be dire consequences."The silence hung heavy in the air as everyone exchanged uneasy glances."I am not sweet on her, Alpha Aldric. I have my own mate. I just don't understand why you are so cruel to her. I thought one was supposed to have a special bond with one's mate. Don't you feel it with her?" Jeremy asked, trying to keep his voice strong and steady. And damned if the man didn't raise a good point. I hadn't planned to be so cruel to my mate
DestinyI scurried back to my room, my heart hammering against my ribcage. What the heck was THAT?!When Alpha Aldric summoned me, I expected him to hurt me more or make ridiculous demands, but instead, he was teaching me how to dance!?Maybe he was having one of his better days. The Alpha King seemed to have quite the range of emotions.I rolled my eyes. The Moon Goddess must hate me for bonding me with a mate like that. Why couldn't I be mated to someone normal? Like Baron. My heart did a little flip. I hadn't thought about Baron since I was auctioned off to the Alpha King. I wondered what he was doing. Was he thinking about me? Wondering where I was?No, he was Aria's best friend, so maybe he was mostly thinking about her.My thoughts kept drifting back to Baron, the gentle and caring werewolf who had been a comforting presence in my life before everything went haywire. He never knew I had a crush on him. I was planning to confess my feelings to him after I turned eighteen, but now
