DIMITRI
'Why was she so dramatic?' Dimitri thought as he turned and started to walk away. He could hear her shuffling feet behind him. She lacked manners, he had observed as much during her beach excursions and she was very rough around the edges. But to think of it, she was a typical rebilious teenager. But there was something very different about her. She was not like other girls, she was... well, what she was, Dimitri was unable to put his finger on it.He sighed as he reached his car and his chauffeur opened the door for him."Enter," Dimitri ordered as he waited by the door, without even sparing her a glance.Kira hesitated."I don't have the entire night to wait for you," Dimitri spoke. He was losing patience with this girl now! Did he make a mistake with this purchase. Why did it feel like that this girl will be more trouble than he was anticipating. He neither had time nor patience to deal with her.Slowly Kira walked forward and entered the car. She was acting weirdly. She bumped her head as she sat and Dimitri felt a pang of annoyance, mixed with a concern for her wellbeing. 'She is your slave and nothing more,' he scolded himself. 'Slave!'Feeling annoyed even more, he followed her."How old are you?" Dimitri asked.Kira, who was staring out the window quietly, gave a start at the question. What was she thinking? he wondered."I am sixteen," she whispered."Sixteen?" he could not believe it. He had thought that the host was lying to make her more valuable!"Just turned sixteen," Kira choked again. Dimitri was not surprised that she was crying now and again. Her life had turned upside down in a few hours... she was bound to be upset."Where do you belong to?" Dimitri aksed again."I... I used to live in London," Kira sighed."Then what are you doing in India?" Dimitri asked, intrigued. "And why were you alone? You are underage, where are your parents?"Kira gave him a sharp look at this. "How does it matter how old I am? You just bought an underage girl..." she snarled. Dimitri stared at her with mild interest. In her rage, her eyes glowed green, or maybe it was because of one of the passing cars' headlights."Why are you here alone? In a different country? Where are your parents?" Dimitri asked, ignoring her jibe at him.Kira chewed her tongue but Dimitri just waited patiently."They are dead," Kira whispered after a pause."Ok," Dimitri spoke, "Both of them?" he asked.Kira looked afronted with the lack of empathy from his side he could tell, but he didn't react to it."Yes," Kira replied a little roughly."Was it recent?" Dimitri asked intrigued."No, they died when i was little," Kira informed flatly."Guardians?" Dimitri persisted."To me they too are dead!" Kira snapped again.'Hmm... so she ran away, literally ran away!' Dimitri thought bemusedly."When did you run away from home and why?" Dimitri asked, but Kira did not reply to this question."Why did you come to India? For fun?" he added."I know why you came here, to buy a teenage for your carnal pleasure," Kira barked and anger rose in him."Carnal pleasure?" Dimitri growled as he bared his teeth. For a moment he felt he would rip off her throat, but then resisted. "Just go to sleep, it will be a while before we reach my room, just sleep," he muttered, losing all interest in the girl. And without sparing her a glance, he pulled out his phone and started working on it.*KIRAWhen Kira came through, she found herself exceptionally comfortable. Hitching up the cozy blanket that was covering her, she snuggled deeply in the pillow."What a dream it was," she chuckled as she spoke aloud to herself. "Good morning, moon," she grinned as she extended her hand to pull her moon shaped pillow - cum best friend - close to her, but instead, her hand touched another body.A dangerous fear gripped her as she slowly withdrew her hand."Hello," Kira whispered now."Hi there!" a man's voice replied.Kira jerked upright in the bed, blanket falling from her body. She looked down at her self, she was still wearing last night's clothes. She glanced sideways, Dimitri was lying in the bed, on top of the blanket she was just snuggling under, bare chested and in his pyjamas."Who is moon?" Dimitri asked curiously."My... my pillow," Kira replied uneasily."You wish your pillow good morning?" Dimitri chuckled. It was the first time she had heard him laugh, even if so slightly, and her heart skipped a beat.Kira wanted to say she had no one else to talk to ever, but chose not to reply.Dimitri sighed and turned to face her. "Are you aware you are obliged to answer me!""I am not obliged to do anything," Kira snapped and jumped out of bed, but Dimitri was very fast. He grabbed hold of her hand and pulled her back."I did not allow you to leave," he spoke as he rolled over and climbed on top of her. Kira's eyes widened with horror as she realized what he was doing! But what was he doing? Technically he was on top of her, but not a single body part was touching her.It took her a moment to control her emotions. Her eyes were wide open, her mouth was ajar - though it was flooding with saliva now - her heart was thudding like she was running a race, and there was a tingling sensation in between her legs.A seductive grin appeared on Dimitri's face that erased all shock from Kira's. She inhaled deeply and felt herself engulfed in his exuberant, exotic scent. She stopped deep breathing as well."I do not need anyone's permission to leave, I am the owner of my own life," Kira snapped, trying to move from underneath him. He moved his hands closer to her body, and she stopped moving. She moved her hands to his chest and tried to push him, the touch of his bare skin against her palms caused a charge which shocked her, but he just grinned. She tried to push him hard but she could not even move his tiniest muscle. He was very strong."You actually do!" Dimitri informed. "Were you not taught our ways?" he was confused."What ways?" Kira demanded. Dimitri raised one eyebrow in conjecture, and Kira wondered what he was thinking."What clan do you belong to?" Dimitri asked simply."Clan? I do not belong to any clan, who do you think I am?" Kira demanded."Your full name," Dimitri demanded."Kira Brown," Kira replied."Brown?" Dimitri spoke thoughtfully, "never heard of any Browns!"Dimitri moved closer to her and sniffed her hair."What the heck you think you are doing?" Kira was horrified. "Why are you acting like a dog?" she bellowed. And in one swift movement, Dimitri's hand was around her throat."What did you call me?" he snarled, and Kira saw why he was so offended suddenly. His eyes, they were not the usual gold, they were luminiscent gold, with depths she could not fathom."I - I ..." Kira choked and she saw his face transform slightly and a shadow appeared on it. A shadow of a wolf.Kira yelped and pushed Dimitri with almighty force. This time he moved, not because he wanted to, but because she pushed him, she actually made him move."Did you just call the alpha of La Gualias clan a dog?" Dimitri roared.Kira shrieked and jumped out of the bed, and cowered in a corner. "How dare you?" he thundered. And as she stared at him, he transformed in a huge, scary wolf in front of her.Thud! all was dark...DIMITRI "I should not have lost control," Dimitri snapped at himself as he transformed back to his human form and looked down at fragile body of Kira. She was totally out of it. "But why did she had to call him a dog?" he added to himself. "Does she not know!" Knock! Knock! Knock! Dimitri huffed and opened the door. "I heard your anger from a long way away," spoke Taron, Dimitri's first beta, his closest ally and protege. "Who offended you to enough to lose control?" he asked seriously. "Her," Dimitri spoke as he controlled his temper. Taron tilted his head to see the fallen form of Kira. "The poor girl lost her consciousness, did she?" he asked curiously. “I cannot even fathom how stupid and mellow she is,” Dimitri spoke. He felt angry, but not at Kira now, but at himself. He was not supposed to lose his cool like this. “Is she mellow or unaware of our existence?” Taron demanded as he entered the room and walked up to the fallen form of Kira. “Why do you have this human with y
KIRA & DIMITRI Kira blinked rapidly. Out of the confinement of the room, she now was feeling less scared of him. And he just threatened her, and yet, he is smiling!"Are you not cold?" Dimitri asked simply. The changing expressions on Kira's face was amusing him beyond his comprehension. He stared at her from top to down, she was still in that dress, her arms and legs below knees were visible and covered in goosebumps. "Are you cold?" Dimitri asked again. Kira did not like his gaze on her body and hugged herself tightly, and shook her head. She was cold, yes, in fact, she was freezing, but she was not going to admit it to him! Dimitri huffed, and raised his hand and flicked his fingers. A few minutes later two men came running to him. He whispered something in one of the men's ears and they turned and hurried back. "Are you calling for the means to kill me?" Kira asked, feeling anxious. "Considering I scared you, I am not going to kill you, yet," Dimitri laughed. He put his hands
KIRA “I am not a – a –” Kira stammered hastily. “Were you bit or something?” she asked in a barely audible whisper. “B… bit?” Dimitri repeated as he laughed at her words and tone. Her expressions were so shocked that Dimitri laughed even harder. His laughter was echoing on the horizon, and for a change, Kira saw a few men staring at him in utter surprise. Kira looked at him nervously and then at the men again – who had disappeared back in the shadows. “Oh dear God, I don’t remember when last I laughed so loudly,” Dimitri spoke, still chortling, bent double on the ground. "I don't think I have laughed like this ever!" he added, panting slightly. “I believe you as I can see that your men popped out of their hidey holes to witness this rare sight,” Kira spoke in a bemused tone. “I am glad I could make you laugh!” “I am glad too,” Dimitri spoke, now getting back to his feet and staring at her. “I had forgotten how to do that, I guess.” “Your life must be miserable if you don’t rememb
Kira didn’t know what to expect next. But a few hours later, in which she was served a lavish breakfast in the room itself, she was taken to Goa International Airport where a stunning chartered plane awaited their party. Dimitri sat beside Kira as they drove to the airport. He was quiet, was it because he was annoyed with her, or was it because of the men in front seats? Kira didn’t like the silence in between them but didn’t know how to resolve it. Feeling they would have a long flight to wherever they were supposed to fly to, she could make up with him. She enjoyed the view outside, and after a while they reached. Her jaw dropped at the sight. A beautiful, white, plane was sitting on the tarmac. Kira stared at it and noticed a weird gold symbol on its rudder. As she tried to make out what it was, a bemused voice spoke from behind, “It is a wolf…” Kira turned and found the handsome Taron grinning at the symbol. Kira blushed at his words. “Beautiful, isn’t it?” Taron continued th
KIRA It was long … a very long flight indeed. Kira was unsure of what to do… The airhostess – thankfully there were some other women on the plane too, phew! – had informed Kira that the flight time was eighteen hours with a fueling layover of two hours in mid. “But where are we heading?” Kira asked expectedly. “I am sorry, I cannot tell you that. Boss said it will be a surprise for you,” the airhostess smiled simply and left. Was Kira imagining it or did she blush slightly as she spoke the word ‘boss’? Was the airhostess smitten by Dimitri? Though Kira was weirded out by her situation, when Dimitri had assured her safety and she had stepped in the plane, she had been awed. But she had been very careful to now show it. As they had entered the plane, the first section held a small kitchenette. She was moved to the next section which housed at least ten seats… and all were occupied by men of various sizes. The next section was a big open space that seemed like a bar with seats fixed t
DIMITRI “TARONNNNNNNNNNN……” Dimitri roared as he lunged at Taron to strangle him. “My lord… listen,” Taron begged as Dimitri’s fingers encircled his throat. “Please… my lord,” Taron spoke in a throaty voice. He didn’t dare push his alpha away, even to save his own life… Taron just grabbed Dimitri’s hand lightly and requested him to show mercy. “Just listen to me once, please…” Dimitri growled again but pushed back Taron, nevertheless. Taron breathed heavily, clutching and massaging his throat, but was grateful. “Boss,” Taron spoke after a long cough. “I am not targeting her. I love Yana, she is my mate since I was fifteen years old. I love her, why would I target her?” Taron asked pointing at unconscious Kira. When Dimitri did not reply, Taron added, “I know how you feel, I know what you feel, I feel it too, but for my own mate…” Dimitri shot him a dirty look at the word ‘mate’. “Oh come on, boss, I am your beta. I know what you are feeling more than anyone else. You have never pa
KIRA When Kira came through, she felt exceptionally stiff, rigid and hungry. She was in a well lit room and was occupying a super cozy bed. A soft chirp of various birds could be heard at a distance, and a far away laughter of kids reached her ears. As Kira dragged herself out of bed, she stumbled slightly. Why were legs so damn stiff. She shook her entire body vigorously to allow the blood flow to properly reach her limbs. Then yawning still, she stepped out of the room. But as she walked out, her eyes fell on her reflection on the large mirror by the door. Her clothes were different than what she was wearing before… Feeling awkward and conscious, she pulled herself together and decided to find her captors. She walked out of her room and found herself in the small living area – where a large book case was placed along with a large sofa set. She stepped out this living area and found that her room opened up to a large courtyard and for a moment she was blinded by the dazzling sunligh
KIRA Kira could not believe this. Could her aunt and uncle really do this to her? Her expressions must have said so because Dimitri got up and brought an apple from the kitchen. “Here,” he offered it to Kira. “I don’t want it,” Kira pulled back and everyone gasped. “Why not?” Dimitri asked with raised eyebrows. “I have never liked it,” Kira spoke simply. She knew she was defying Dimitri and it was not an acceptable gesture in this house! “But you like the smell of it, isn’t it?” Dimitri asked, smelling the apple. “I always like the smell or aroma of the food, but never the taste,” Kira informed. “Does it smell like it always does?” Dimitri asked, still offering. Kira bent closer to the apple and sniffed. “Yes, the same,” Kira nodded. Dimitri took a bite of the apple, “It is delicious too, you know. It is a normal apple,” he suggested. “Now take a bite!” Kira looked around. Everyone was staring at the pair of them with bated breaths. Feeling no other option, she started to t
