Chapter 77 –

Lisa’s POV

I was still in bed when I heard the shower running.

The soft hum of water against tile made my heart race. The thought of him, naked and wet, steam clinging to every perfect inch of his body, ignited a fire low in my belly. I wanted to get up, sneak into the bathroom and press my lips against his skin, tease him until he begged—but I didn’t.

Instead, I stayed beneath the sheets, pretending to sleep, heart thudding wildly as the door creaked open.

He stepped out.

God.

Water dripped from his dark hair, trailing down his strong jaw, gliding over his bare chest, and disappearing into the towel slung low around his hips. His abs, carved and glistening, flexed with every step he took. He was art. A sinful masterpiece. My mouth watered, and I had to bite down on my lip to keep from moaning.

The bed dipped beside me.

His fingers brushed along my arm, slow and deliberate. I shivered under his touch.

“You’re awake,” he murmured, his voice husky and lo

  • Entangled Hearts    chapter 76

**Chapter 76 – Lisa’s POV** I stirred in Vincent’s arms, my body still aching in the most delicious way. The events of last night played like a vivid reel behind my eyes—the garden, his words, the way he touched me, kissed me, took me like I was the only woman who ever mattered it felt like those horrible three days never happened. I turned slightly and found his eyes already on me, their warmth wrapping around me like a second blanket. “Good morning, beautiful,” he whispered, brushing his lips across my bare shoulder. A soft smile curved my lips. “Morning.” He tucked a strand of hair behind my ear, his touch tender. “Are you okay?” I nodded, though a quiet ache still lingered in my chest. “I am… now.” He kissed me deeply, his hands gliding over my back, every stroke of his fingers whispering promises into my skin. We lingered in bed, tangled in warmth and slow touches. His fingertips traced lazy patterns over my thighs, my stomach, my arms, as if memorizing me all over again.

  • Entangled Hearts    chapter 75

Chapter 75 — Vincent’s POV Three days. Three excruciating days since everything fell apart. Lisa hadn’t said more than a few words to me since that night. A nod here. A clipped "yes" or "no" there. She’d been avoiding me—refusing to join me for meals, walking past me like I was invisible, locking herself away in Clara’s room, in the kitchen, anywhere I wasn’t. And it hurt. It fucking hurt. I missed her. My Lisa my bright, beautiful, soft-hearted girl who used to blush when our eyes met, who used to tremble when I touched her. Now she barely looked my way. And every second without her felt like someone was slowly driving a dagger into my chest. I knew I messed up. Even if I was drugged, even if I had no memory of that night with Lilian, it didn’t erase the damage. It didn’t undo the hurt in Lisa’s eyes when she saw us together. I could still feel her pain like it was my own. But I was done waiting. Done giving her space that only widened the distance between us. Today,

  • Entangled Hearts    chapter 74

Chapter 74 — Vincent’s POV The sound of my phone shattering against the wall did nothing to silence the chaos inside my head. The crash echoed through the hall like a gunshot, but the pain I felt wasn’t in my hand—it was in my chest. Lisa. I had searched every damn room. Called out her name like a madman. I’d ripped through the mansion like a storm, desperate to find her. But she wasn’t in her room. She wasn’t in the staff quarters. And now... now I stood outside Clara’s room, knowing—just knowing—she was inside. I could feel her behind that door. The same woman who had looked at me with so much trust earlier today… now hiding from me like I was the monster she feared. And maybe I was. I raised my fist to knock but couldn’t bring myself to bang like I wanted to. Instead, my hand fell against the door gently. Once. Twice. “Lisa… please,” I breathed out, my voice foreign even to me. Broken. Raw. I closed my eyes, resting my forehead against the wood. God, I could s

  • Entangled Hearts    chapter 73

Chapter 73: Lisa's pov I hid in Clara's bathroom, trembling. My knees hugged my chest as silent sobs wracked my body. The cold tiles bit into my skin, but the ache inside my chest was far worse. Vincent. My Vincent. I had run straight to this room, needing somewhere, anywhere, to disappear. Clara had been too shocked to stop me. She didn’t even know what had happened, not truly. All she saw was the look on my face when I pushed open the door and found them together—him and his wife. That image refused to leave my mind. Lilian's mocking smile. Vincent’s bare chest. The sheets tangled around their legs. The silence before he saw me. The guilt that flashed in his eyes. I had trusted him. I gave him everything. My body. My heart. And he... he gave himself to her? His wife. The one he claimed he didn’t want. The one he said he had no feelings for. So why? Why did he hold her like that? Why didn’t he push her away? Why did he let her touch him? Why did he kiss her? Did I mean

  • Entangled Hearts    chapter 72

Chapter 72 – Vincent’s POV The door slammed shut. “Lisa!” I called after her, my voice breaking through the heavy fog that clouded my mind. But she didn’t stop. She didn’t look back. She was gone. My heart slammed hard against my chest, a brutal, thundering rhythm that shook me to my core. My baby girl had just looked me in the eye, her soul shattered, and walked away. I could still see her face—the tears spilling, her lips parted in disbelief, the shopping bags lying limp by her feet like her entire world had fallen apart. No. No, no, no. I turned slowly, my blood already boiling. Lilian. She was still lying on my bed, shamelessly naked beneath my sheets. Her lips curled into that smug, satisfied smirk—the kind that only added fuel to the fire now consuming me. “What the fuck did you do?” I growled, every syllable soaked in fury. She blinked, feigning innocence. “Vincent, I don’t know what you—” Before she could finish, I was on her. My hand clamped tightl
