A stranger in a Creepy Coat

With a delightful smile on my face, I watched Jericho ascend the stage. He emitted so much power as he walked and the crowd cheered for him. At first, he spoke very well, but I realized how disturbed he was when he began to talk deeply about his mother. In his eyes, I saw a broken man who lacked motherly love.

He spoke well for some time, but he soon halted for a split second. The rest of the words he spoke came out as a stutter. His eyes were fixated on a spot and they held unrest. He brushed it off as quickly as possible, but I was attentive enough to notice it.

Quickly I turned to see who he was glancing at. I got a glimpse of the person, but that was it. The fellow's back was turned against us and he was walking amongst the crowd just outside the hall.

For Jericho to stare at a person like that, it had to be crucial and I couldn't just let it slide. Plus my nosy nature sought to know more. I stood up from my seat and walked out. I wanted to know who the person was and why Jericho
