Hatred

Leia's POV

Disembarking from the plane wasn't as easy as usual. My muscles and joints were sore. I needed support.

Right behind me was Jericho. He noticed my discomfort and rushed forward to help me. I gave him a demeaning look and his hand froze.

"Easy ma'am," the doctor called out and walked towards me. He offered a helping hand and helped me all the way.

A white limousine was already on a standby at the pickup area. The guards opened the doors and we all took our seats. Jericho sat right beside me but I gave no damn.

The engine roared to life and soon we were on the highway. Before and behind us were a fleet of cars filled with guards.

I shuddered as we drove back into the Banda's territory. Repressed memories came alive and what I felt was raw hatred.

We halted at one of the garages which was closest to my quarters. I dissuaded all of Jericho's care to help me out of the car, I made it out in my own efforts and marched forward with my destination in mind.
