Nikolai said I'd be on car scrub duty for two days. Like seriously? I was annoyed at him for that but it didn't stop him from sending me off with Amelia and Audrey to look for a wedding dress.

“You should try this, it'd look great on you," Amelia said, holding a dress up to my body. It was a white body hugging dress with intricate patterns. I scrunched up my nose and shook my head.

“White is too basic. I'm the main character, I'll wear something different," I said, eyeing the racks. I pulled my phone from my bag as I dialled Enzo's number. I shifted to a secluded place to make the call.

“What's up, babe?" He drawled.

“Do you have any idea on what color of suit Nikolai will be wearing?" I asked him. Nikolai didn't bother going suit shopping, his excuse being he had enough suits already.

"I'm actually buying one for him right now. Haven't decided on a color though. Why?” Enzo asked. My brow shot up and I cleared my throat. I looked around so I could make sure nobody was listening to the

    "What is it, Princess?" I heard as a dark silhouette loomed over me. I gulped. I stepped back a bit, ensuring to keep enough space between us. "It's nothing.     My day was great. Infact, my whole first week was perfect. I had enough time to focus on my work. L hadn't called in a week and there had been no more threats on either I or Nikolai's life.     Sunlight filtered in through the window and I turned on the bed. I opened my eyes a bit to see that my phone was buzzing and the screen had lit up.
