“How can someone so small be so heavy?" Nikolai complained as he hoisted me on his back and walked out of the plane. I'd woken up some time ago and since I still felt sleepy, Amelia was worried I would fall over and die-even thought that was physically impossible- so she asked Nikolai to carry me.

“What's that quote, don't judge a book by its cover? Carry your elephant, hubby,” I told him, patting his back. Nikolai grunted and kept on walking out with me. I closed my eyes as I tried to fall back into my sleep but I was woken by a sharp scream.

"Nikky!” A female voice squealed. I opened my eyes to see a petite girl beelining towards Nikolai and I. I jumped off his back just in time as she barrelled into him. There was a man beside her that looked like he had a good ten years over Nikolai.

"Audrey, I've only been gone for about three days," Nikolai grunted as he tried to push the girl away from him. The girl separated from him and pouted.

“Well excuse me for missing my favorite person," she said, placing her hands on her hips. Nikolai rolled his eyes at her antics and I narrowed mine at him. Wasn't this the same person who wanted me to stop rolling my eyes!?

“Ma'am, where is your luggage? Let me help you with it," The older man said, putting his hands out. It was only then the girl acknowledged my presence. She offered me a smile and gave Nikolai a confused look. I shook my head at the man and smiled.

“You guys, this is Sarah. She is my fiancee," Nikolai dropped the bomb. The girl's smile dropped a bit but within a second it was back and brighter than ever.

“Oh! Hi, Sarah, I'm Audrey. I'm sure Nikolai hasn't spoken about me," she said, wrapping an arm around my shoulder. Audrey had a warm personality and it felt as if she and I would get along.

“He hasn't. He's one tough nut to crack. Always worried about work and all," I said, forcing a laugh.

“And I'm Charles, his butler and number one confidant. Nikolai can't make a decision without me so I wonder how he did this one," Charles said, eyeing me weirdly.

"Stop being clingy, Charles. Is the car ready? Let's go,” Nikolai said. Amelia appeared behind me and we walked together to the car. Nikolai leaned down as he whispered to me,

“Don't you think I should continue carrying my elephant?" He teased. My chest constricted and I coughed, making Nikolai chuckle. There were two cars following each other. Nikolai and I in the first car and Charles, Amelia and Audrey in the second.

It was a quiet ride since Nikolai and I were mostly on our phones. I finally broke the silence as a question popped into my head.

“You said I'm your fiance, when are we getting married?" I asked.

“Are you that eager to carry my last name, Sarah?" He asked, smirking. Nikolai turned off his phone and looked at me with wicked eyes. I forgot how to breathe for a second then shook my head and looked straight ahead.

“No, it's just that, I want to know. Preparation. To prepare. Awareness," I said, jumbling up a few nonsense words. Nikolai chuckled.

“You'll go dress shopping maybe tomorrow or next. Whenever I'm free," he said, picking up his phone. I nodded and closed my eyes.

"Is there something you're not telling me? Did that dickhead get you pregnant? You've been sleeping way too much,” Nikolai asked, a bit of frustration in his tone.

"Ew! I might have had sex with Daniel but I'm not stupid enough to let him nut in me,” I said, snapping my eyes open. I didn't even process Nikolai's reaction as I turned away and said something I'd probably regret, "I prefer it in my mouth.”

From my peripheral vision, I saw Nikolai's eyes narrow and his jaw clenched. He flexed his hand then looked at me with a raised brow. Coming close to me, he whispered,

"I can't wait for us to get home. The only name you'd remember after I'm done with you is mine,” My breath hitched in my throat as I looked at him from the side of my eyes and a blush rose up my cheek.

“That's extremely inappropriate. And I'm not willing to have sex with you. At least not until we're married," I said, remembering our deal.

“Well then, Princess. We'll see about that," he said, smirking. I puffed out a breath when Nikolai finally moved away from me. The car stopped in front of a large mansion and I gasped when I stepped out.

“You didn't tell me you lived in a fucking palace!" I told him, hitting his shoulders. The initial embarrassment had subsided. Nikolai smiled without answering.

“The inside would wow you even more," he said, smugly. Nikolai grabbed me by the wrist and pulled me into the house. To call this place gorgeous would be an insult. It was out of this world. Words would be useless if I tried to describe it.

Amelia and the others came up behind me. She had the same awed look as me. We glanced at each other and I could swear the same thought crossed our minds.

“Let me show you to your room,” Charlie said, collecting my luggage. I nodded and closed my mouth.

"No!” Nikolai said, suddenly. "I'll take her to the room. She's staying with me after all,” Nikolai said, giving me a wicked look. I thought back to the convo in the car and my heart began doing back flips.

"No need, I'm comfortable with Charles escorting me to your chamber,” I said, wringing my fingers together. Everyone in the room looked at me weird. I glanced at Amelia and she looked as if she was holding back a laugh. She alone knew why I spoke like that. Whenever I got too flustered, I would speak that way.

Nikolai grabbed me by the arm and pulled me with him. We climbed some stairs before finally reaching a room separated from the others. It had an entire floor to itself and I was sure even if I screamed my loudest, no one would come to my rescue. Great! So I was stranded here with a man who was hell bent on bending me over.

Immediately we entered the room, Nikolai flung my luggage to the side and pushed me against the door. His hand grabbed my chin as he forced me to look up at him.

"What was that you were saying in the car?” He said, his dark eyes looking straight into mine. I pulled my eyes away from his as they roamed all around the room.

" Look, Nikolai, that was all just big talk. My mouth went ahead to ramble about subjects unknown to it and usually when it does this, we land in situations detrimental to us. I hope you understand what I'm trying to convey—” I yapped. Nikolai chuckled as he forced me to look up at him.

“Eyes up here, Princess. I find it extremely hot that you ramble and can't look me in the eye while doing so," he said, tilting his head to bite my ear. I placed my arms flat against the door as panic rose within my chest.

I had had sex before but sex with Nikolai? That was something different. That was something I definitely didn't want to explore.

“We shouldn't be doing this," I told him, clenching my legs. Nikolai placed his forehead on mine and put one hand in between my thighs.

“Why?" He asked. I felt hot and bothered knowing Nikolai would soon find out I was aroused. “Open your legs, Sarah," he murmured. I clenched my legs even tighter when he said that. Nikolai looked at me with a dark look and he threatened, “don't make me repeat myself, Sarah."

I ignored his warning and tightened them even tighter. His jaw clenched and Nikolai moved back. Taking off his belt, Nikolai grabbed both my hands and tied them together. He then hoisted me up in his waist then took me to the bed. Nikolai parted my legs and pulled my pants down, leaving me open to him.

Nikolai rubbed the pad of his thumb on my bud and hummed. “Had I listened and let you be, you'd have had to deal with all this by yourself.. why let you go through that when I'm here," he said, inserting his finger into me. I sucked in a deep breath as he sunk his finger into me.

Nikolai stroked deep within me, adding two more fingers. Just when I was about to orgasm, Nikolai pulled out his fingers and stood up.

“That's your punishment. Next time, if you're a good girl, I might let you cum," he said, leaving the room. I heaved as anger clouded my vision.

I hate Nikolai. I hate his stupid face. I hate his stupid body. I hate his stupid fingers. And most of all, I hate the fact that I want him.

"What is it, Princess?" I heard as a dark silhouette loomed over me. I gulped. I stepped back a bit, ensuring to keep enough space between us. "It's nothing. I just- I was just worried about my cases and presentation. Forget it," I said, turning around, hurrying to leave his side. I knew what L could do and if he knew what Nikolai and I did in the bedroom then I was sure he would know about this conversation. I rather not have it and keep Nikolai safe. "I could convince management to stretch the deadline," Nikolai offered, following behind me. I hastened up my pace as I shook my head. "No need. Thank you. I'll go work on them now," I said. "Stop," Nikolai ordered. For a moment, my legs turned to stone and I waited but I quickly recovered remembering that I had to keep my distance. I continued walking away and was about to enter our room when i was suddenly spun around and my back was pinned to the wall beside our room door. I gulped noticeably. "Did or did I not say to stop, Sarah

My day was great. Infact, my whole first week was perfect. I had enough time to focus on my work. L hadn't called in a week and there had been no more threats on either I or Nikolai's life. In all, I was happy. My work life was great, my sex life was great. My favorite part of workdays were when I would sneak into Nikolai's office and help him relieve the stress of the day. So far, everything was good. Today was Saturday and I was sleeping in. I would begin working on my personal case later tonight. That way I had an excuse to get away from Nikolai's bed. I shuddered. My core was sore from all the tumbling in bed we'd been doing lately. I didn't want Nikolai to find out else his ego would enlarge so much I'd have to move out!"So how have you been?" I asked Amelia as I sat up on the couch. It was currently 12pm. Amelia had come back home about 30 minutes ago and she'd be staying till Monday morning when she'd have to leave."Things have been great. I've been doing well in my classes.

I managed to finish my introduction although rushed and not as smoothly as I imagined it. All thanks to Nikolai. When I went back to my position, I felt the vibrations stop and I grit my teeth. Nikolai wasn't looking at me, he was looking at the employee now introducing himself. I narrowed my eyes at him and glared at his side profile. I knew he knew I was glaring at him by the ghost of a smirk on his face."Well, I underestimated how much time that would take," He said immediately the employee was done. It was Margaret's turn to introduce herself and as she stepped out, he held up a hand to stop her. She looked confused for a moment then went red when Nikolai shooed her away with his hand like she was an insect. I bit back a laugh."End of introductions, we have more pressing things to attend to," Nikolai said, staring at the paper someone had just dropped in front of him. I peeked up, ready to start taking notes. Nikolai began addressing us. Half the time, I was admiring his work et

Sunlight filtered in through the window and I turned on the bed. I opened my eyes a bit to see that my phone was buzzing and the screen had lit up. I had put my phone on vibration only last night to avoid any distractions."Hello," I said, picking it up. I noticed how hoarse my voice sounded and my throat was sore too."Sarah? Are you just waking up?" Ava's voice said through the phone. I furrowed my brows and drew the phone away from my ear to check the time."Shit!" I yelled, sitting up immediately. "I am going to be so late. Thanks for waking me up," I told her already getting up."Did you check the group chat today?" She asked at the same time Nikolai came into the room."I'll tell one of the drivers to take you to work. I'll be the one picking you up today too," He said immediately he entered. I put my hand on my speaker as I answered him,"Sure. You're going to work now?" I asked, hesitantly. There was a different question on the tip of my tongue."I am. I'll see you in a bit. Al

After saying my farewells to Ava and Josie, I got into the car with Nikolai. I sat at the window side of the car, careful not to get too close to him. He was still in his suit(without the blazer) and his sleeves were rolled up. I could feel the anger rolling off him and how hard he was trying to keep his cool. Knowing Nikolai, we'd continue this game until he reached tipping point and then everyone would suffer for it so I decided to start a conversation."Beautiful day, isn't it?" I asked or so I thought. Nikolai's head snapped in my direction with such speed that I feared he'd broken his neck."Beautiful day?" He snarled. My chest tightened knowing what was coming next. "No, Sarah. It is not a beautiful day. A beautiful day would be you safely at home and me at work but that's not what today was, was it? I told you to stay at home but you didn't listen. What if something had happened to you?""But nothing happened. You should've waited until something did. At least then I'd have had

I wasn't one to give up. So when Nikolai left the room yesterday, I'd hurriedly sorted out my outfit for today. I went for something basic since it was my first day. I wore a plain black skirt and a white long sleeve shirt. I put my hair in a sleek ponytail to make myself look professional then I packed my bag.I doubted Nikolai would make things easy for me but surprisingly, he did. When I woke up, he wasn't in bed, he had already left. And there weren't any extra guards or anything following me around. I felt slightly guilty for breaking his trust but it wasn't my fault he was too stubborn to see reason.I was standing in front of the large Starks and Clarks Skyscraper with my heart palpitating in my chest. My palms felt sweaty and I instinctively rubbed them on my skirt. People came in and out of the building, each looking busy and I couldn't help the small smile on my face."You're new too?" I heard someone ask beside me. I turned my head and saw two girls around my age."I am. I'm
