Entangled With The Mafia Lycan King

"Nikolai Mezzeselma, nice to meet you." He said, offering me a small smirk. It felt as if the world around me had come to a stop and for a moment I'd forgotten about my boyfriend's betrayal. Nikolai had changed since the last time I saw him.Nikolai Mezzeselma now had this manly charm I'd never seen before. His jet black hair fell across his forehead as his dark eyes remained fixated on me. The moment didn't last long though before we started hearing whispers which reminded us that we were in public. I pulled away from his grip and sat back down on my chair and he did the same."Lycan King, you didn't inform us that you'd be coming?" The Alpha said as he scurried over to our seat. Nikolai shrugged as he picked up a cup of wine from the waiter passing by."As Lycan King I don't think I need to inform you of everything I do, Alpha Richard," Nikolai answered, sipping his wine. Alpha Richard chuckled lightly."I don't mean it that way. I mean I could've prepared better. Look at this ugly

“Don't worry, princess, you're not dying anytime soon," a familiar voice said as I felt a presence beside me. I looked beside me to see Nikolai standing in all his glory. He was wearing a suit and his hands were in his pocket. I didn't know and I didn't care how he got here. I was just glad he did. Everyone else had a shocked yet mortified look.“Surprised?" Nikolai asked, raising a brow at them. He pulled out a phone from his pocket and turned it to show them a video.“I'll hide the ring in her bag. You put it in her drink, right?" Ruth's voice came through the phone. She, Daniel, my father and Alpha Richard were discussing in the video. They spoke some more about how they were planning on framing me for the theft of her ring. My jaw slacked and my mouth fell wide open when I heard the last thing my father said.“Just make sure you kill her before Nikolai gets here. And don't make it obvious that it was a murder," he said. I looked at him but his eyes held no remorse. Only fear. Niko

“How can someone so small be so heavy?" Nikolai complained as he hoisted me on his back and walked out of the plane. I'd woken up some time ago and since I still felt sleepy, Amelia was worried I would fall over and die-even thought that was physically impossible- so she asked Nikolai to carry me.“What's that quote, don't judge a book by its cover? Carry your elephant, hubby,” I told him, patting his back. Nikolai grunted and kept on walking out with me. I closed my eyes as I tried to fall back into my sleep but I was woken by a sharp scream."Nikky!” A female voice squealed. I opened my eyes to see a petite girl beelining towards Nikolai and I. I jumped off his back just in time as she barrelled into him. There was a man beside her that looked like he had a good ten years over Nikolai."Audrey, I've only been gone for about three days," Nikolai grunted as he tried to push the girl away from him. The girl separated from him and pouted.“Well excuse me for missing my favorite person,"

“Okay, now calm down, Nikolai," I said, shifting. Nikolai's smirk only widened as he pushed the plate away.“Now why should I do that?" He asked. I tapped on the table as I tried to figure out a way to divert his attention. “Seeing as it's my first time in New York don't you think you should show me around? I mean, it's been hours since we arrived," I told him, standing up. Nikolai raised a brow.“At this time?" He asked. I scoffed and out my hands on my hips.“If you can come back at this time then I'm sure you can also take me out, Nikolai," I told him. Nikolai smiled and stood up.“Sure, princess," he said. And just when I thought he'd let me go, he added, “But don't think I've forgotten the original plan, Sarah." Then he walked out.My cheeks flushed red and my jaw slacked. Nikolai was already far ahead of me so I quickly gathered myself and followed him out. I took my coat too since it was cold at this time.I walked behind Nikolai to his car and I felt as if someone was watchin

Nikolai said I'd be on car scrub duty for two days. Like seriously? I was annoyed at him for that but it didn't stop him from sending me off with Amelia and Audrey to look for a wedding dress.“You should try this, it'd look great on you," Amelia said, holding a dress up to my body. It was a white body hugging dress with intricate patterns. I scrunched up my nose and shook my head.“White is too basic. I'm the main character, I'll wear something different," I said, eyeing the racks. I pulled my phone from my bag as I dialled Enzo's number. I shifted to a secluded place to make the call.“What's up, babe?" He drawled.“Do you have any idea on what color of suit Nikolai will be wearing?" I asked him. Nikolai didn't bother going suit shopping, his excuse being he had enough suits already."I'm actually buying one for him right now. Haven't decided on a color though. Why?” Enzo asked. My brow shot up and I cleared my throat. I looked around so I could make sure nobody was listening to the
