Suspicions

DEVON     

       I walked into the bedroom and placed the tray containing Theo's breakfast on the night stand. He was still asleep, faint dark circles beneath his eyes. I brushed his hair away from his face and pressed a kiss to his temple. He stirred, long dark lashes fluttering subtly. I planted another kiss to the corner of his lips which curved into a smile. "It's time to wake up, sleeping beauty" I whispered. "Not yet" he rasped, pulling me down to lay on top of him. He flipped us both upside down, with him hovering over me. There he goes again with his superhuman strength.

 His thumb slowly traced my lips and I smiled, gazing at his beautiful golden eyes. "Beautiful as always" he commented and I chuckled. "Not as beautiful as you are, though" I said, cupping the side of his face. He laughed.
