My name is Eros, Eros Chaz Draeger, and I am an incubus. I take the life force from humans during the act of sex, and my master, the devil, takes a portion of it from me during sleep from the rune tattoo I have on my back. It can take the complete life force from any mortal who lays eyes upon it so I have to be cautious or leave a string of dead humans in my wake.

I have been placed on earth by the same individual because I am being punished for seducing his daughter before her wedding. What can I say, I got horny and Lucifer doesn't have a sense of humor. Anyway, I have one rule when I am fucking, and that is I NEVER kiss on the lips.

I never have and never will. As far as I am concerned, it's a much too intimate connection and not worth my time. The simple reason is that I can't give any love because I am, in reality, a demon. I only appear human on earth and look very different in the bowels of hell.

Having horns, a tail, and cloven feet along with sharp features and fangs, I am rather hideous when I am there. My human form on earth is much more appealing to me and my female prey. Yes, prey, if I don't have sex regularly I will wither away into nothingness.

Thankfully I am not alone in my punishment. I have a companion named Samson, an old wizard cursed to be a cat. He has been traveling with me throughout the world, trying to find the Grimoires that contain the spell to turn him back to his former cankerous wizardry self. It has become a side quest for us and has remained unfilled for hundreds of years. We both have traveled the entire world due to humans growing suspicious of me never aging and also hunting for a reverse spell for Samson, which is fine. It makes the world my oyster.

Currently, I am residing in my penthouse in Las Vegas, but I will soon travel to Hong Kong, Sydney, New York, or wherever I flip a coin…

Sleeping comfortably after sending my evening's entertainment on her way in an Uber, I felt a slight weight jump onto the bed and frowned. Knowing it was that damn cat Samson coming to lay down next to my back I ignored his paws inching closer to my face.

“Oh, Daddy, give it to me,” his voice raked near my ear, and I cracked open my eyes to see his yellow ones staring at me.

“Fuck off, furball, and let me sleep,” I muttered sourly, and the little bastard started to bat my cheek with his paw.

“I'm hungry, feed me, Daddy,” he hissed.

“Feed yourself,” I retorted and covered my head with the blanket.

Laughing in his odd way he said, “You sure had a noisy female last night. I thought the occupants below us would start to complain.”

Samson used his claws to pull the cover off, climbed up onto my bare chest, and plopped down on me.

“Mind your claws, Samson, and go eat your kibble, " I muttered.

He pffted at me.

“I'm tired of that dry crap and need something in a round metal can, please,” he hissed, and I screwed my face and glared at the feline.

“I do not have opposable thumbs and can't use the can opener,” he meowed.

“You can wait. You know that I rise before the housekeeper comes from the cleaning agency,” I huffed and closed my eyes.

Hearing my front door unlock, I sat up quickly, feeling claws run down my chest, and glanced over at the alarm clock.

“Oh shit, I overslept, Samson! Rosie is already here to clean and cannot see my back tattoo,” I panicked as I scrambled my nude body from my satin sheets.

“I tried waking you up,” he huffed in annoyance.

Rushing to my ensuite, I grabbed my robe and slipped it on, hearing the housekeeper calling out my name.

“Mister Draeger! Sir, I must have a word! If you're still home!”

Slinking between my ankles, Samson was laughing, and I pushed him away with my foot so he didn't trip me.

“I'm in my bedroom Rosie, and will be out momentarily,” I called out.

After following the cat I saw Rosie standing there with her container of cleaning supplies.

Noticing that she wasn't alone I pinched my lips together at the intrusion of my domain and asked her who she had with her.

“I apologize for not following your specific rules regarding strangers, sir, but I brought another worker from the agency who will be filling in for me while I go on vacation,” she said briskly and gestured for the female to step out from behind her.

The scent of foreign spices tickled my nostrils as I narrowed my eyes at the petite redhead who had her face lowered in my presence.

“Introduce us, Rosie,” I asserted, and the stranger peered up at me with bright, wide green eyes.

I swallowed uncomfortably at seeing her studying me as her freckled nose sniffed the air discreetly.

“This is Tess Sunrise and I'm going to show her what will be required to be done in your penthouse,” the older woman asserted.

My eyes narrowed at the tiny Tess woman as I nodded.

“Fine but do not disturb me while I am getting dressed and preparing to leave for the day,” I replied as my mind filled with thoughts of making Tess scream my name as I buried myself deeply within her.

Samson strutted past me, tilted his head up at the stranger, and began making a purring noise.

“Oh I love cats,” Tess announced and knelt beside the feline and began stroking his onyx fur. Wishing it was me she was stroking, I shuddered at the unusual thought and frowned.

“Don't do that, it sheds entirely too much,” I muttered sourly.

“Then I will brush him out for you, sir,” she responded.

Shaking my head in disgust I excused myself and hurried to my bedroom to shower and dress.

I was feeling odd and needed to clear my head.

“A red-colored hard drink at the main floor bar sounded like a great idea,” I surmised and went to my closet for a suit.
