Chapter 11- Tyrone Riverdale
Kendra Sullivan was in the pack gardens, tending to a patch of vibrant, red roses.
It was one of the little things she loved to do when she wasn’t playing Beta, or taking her wolf for a run, or sparring, or drawing…
Yeah, the she-wolf was quite talented.
It was early morn, that time of day where the sun was out, but not too hot or shiny.
It really was a beautiful day to be out.
Kendra felt at peace in that moment, it was a much welcome respite after being so tense for days.
She had spent the whole week avoiding Killian, because after his recovery, it became apparent that the very air they both breathed was charged with some indescribable force.
The Alpha wanted to talk about the kiss, but she surprisingly didn’t, because she had a hunch as to what he was going to say.

Chapter 15- The grand revelation The two wolves had barely made it to the entrance of Maymunah’s wing when the grand door opened with a sudden surge, a strong gust of wind being the apparent cause. Chapter 16- The Rejection “Maymunah? What are you doing?” Killian asked in confusion. “Come on, get up Maymunah…” Kendra quickly rushed to her side, “What were you thinking, kneeling down like that?” The she-wolf helped the old hag to her feet. “What’s going on?” She and Killian both asked at the same time, waiting for the Oracle’s reply. But the old woman continued to move about, seeming exceptionally happy all of a sudden. “Oh, you two clueless pups,” She finally said. “Don’t you see? The goddess of the moon has come to our aid. The curse has been broken.” “I-I don’t understand.” Kendra shook her head in confusion. What was going on with the Seer? CHAPTER 17- Elinor Kendra knew now what true loneliness was. She thought she did before, but she had never realised that there was loneliness, and then there was loneliness. CHAPTER 18- Artemis returns “Beta Sullivan, today’s milled corn’s looking coarser than usual. Is that supposed to happen?” Kendra chuckled at the question. Normally she’d have no knowledge on that, but her love for reading had made her quite the expert. “Well, technically, no… but it does happen sometimes, Mavis.” She addressed the short, chubby, woman with raven dark hair. “And I’ve told you to call me Kendra.” “I’m sorry, milady— I mean, Kendra…” The older woman corrected with a soft chuckle, “That is going to take some time to get used to.” Kendra giggled. “No problem. Take all the time you need. Now back to the corn… you’ll have to mill it again. Keep doing it until the fineness is up to your taste, alright?” “Yes, mi—Kendra.” Kendra laughed out loud as she watched the older woman leave, going back to her work of sorting out lentils. Who knew it was going to take one of their now routine fall outs to get Kendra to befriend the she-wolves in the pack? Honestly speaking, Killian never thought he’d live to see the day that happened. He hadn’t believed Miguel when he had reported his observations, and so he had sent Dante, who only came back with the same news. In the end, he had gone himself to absolutely confirm the miracle… even though he had made sure that she didn’t see him. For her to agree to hang out with the she-wolves rather than spar told him just how much she wanted to avoid him this time. And so he was going to respect her decision.
