While showering, Alec thought about the man he killed and what probably happened to Ruby. And even if he tried not to think about it, it was almost impossible. It wasn’t like him to be violent. The next morning, Alec felt refreshed. It wasn’t like he had a long, pleasurable night of sex. It was even better. He got up and opened the curtains, facing the large pool that was down there. Although the sun was still giving way, one of the cleaners was already there, removing the leaves that autumn began to bring.
