CHAPTER 73

MASTER HAYDEN'S POV:-

I looked at myself in the mirror one last time as I was finally ready to go. I stepped out of my bedroom and made my way towards the main gate of the palace. As I stepped out, the driver held the door open for me. I hopped into the car and grabbed the invitation card that was sent for me. I smiled and put it inside my jacket pocket. I was wearing white tuxedo with black shirt along with a red tie and a red pocket square. 

"Have you checked all the gifts but yourself? Did you separate the gifts for the couple and the baby boy? I don't want to be humiliated there." I asked as soon as the driver hopped into the car. He bowed his head with a smile on his face.

"I double checked, Master Hayden. You don't have to worry about it. To keep the trace, I asked them to pack the child's gifts in different paper." He replied in a polite tone. I nodded my head and signalled him to drive. He started the car and drove off.

After an hour drive, we finally reached the Kart's territory. The driver opened the door and stepped out. I grabbed the big flower bouquet I had brought with me for the couple. I straightened up my clothes and marched towards the doors of their mansion. I looked around and smiled. I had found my friend standing on the other corner of the room. While my driver was getting all the gifts out of the car, I made my way towards the lovely couple.

"Merry Christmas Derek Kart! And happy eighth wedding anniversary." I said as I stopped right beside him. He turned around along with his wife. He smiled widely and he opened his arms for me. I smiled back and hugged my friend. He patted my back and I did the same. We broke the hug and I turned to look at his wife.

"Happy eighth wedding anniversary, Maria." I said as I handed her the flower bouquet. She smiled and smelled the flowers.

"Thank you so much, Hayden. They are lovely. And Merry Christmas to you too." She replied in a polite tone. I nodded my head and looked around for their son.

"Where is Zeus?" I asked as I did not see him at all. 

"He is in his room. He is angry at us. Maria's friend was also asking for that boy. I really did not know how hard it is to become a father. I salute my father to be my father." Derek replied while rubbing the back of his neck nervously. I laughed out loud and he joined me. Maria shook her head as she saw us making fun of her son.

"Okay, I am gonna go and check him. I brought him gifts and I am getting him downstairs at the party." I said and turned around. I signalled my driver to follow me. He did as he was told.

I knocked the door lightly and opened the door. I looked at the most adorable scene ever. Zeus was sitting on his bed, facing the window he had in his room. His chubby cheeks were chubbier because of the cute little pout on his face. He was staring at the sky. "Hey, Buddy! I thought you would be accompanying me at the party tonight, but you are sitting here, pouting like a girl. What's wrong with my buddy?" I asked him as I stepped into the room. As soon as he recognized my voice, he turned around and stood up. He jumped on me and I hugged him tightly.

"Dada did not buy me a tuxedo like him. He said I look cute in jeans and a shirt. A gentleman should not look cute. A gentleman should look handsome." He said with the same angry pout on his face. It took me everything not to laugh out loud or he would be angry at me too. I sat him on the bed again and he looked up at me.

"Yeh! Your dada has not grown up yet. But don't worry. Uncle Hayden is here for you buddy. Uncle Hayden brought you a tuxedo exactly as Uncle Hayden is wearing. So my buddy would look handsome as me." I replied with a smirk on my face. He smiled widely and looked around for his tuxedo.

"Nathan, please bring the tuxedo for Zeus." I asked my driver who was standing outside of the room. He knocked and opened the door. He stepped into the room and gave me the tuxedo for Zeus. I unzipped it's cover and showed the tuxedo to Zeus. He started jumping in excitement as he saw the tuxedo. I chuckled and helped him to get rid of his old clothes. I made him wear the tuxedo and styled his hair as mine as well.

"And done. You look like a gentleman. Handsome and dashing." I said and he checked himself in the mirror.

"You are the best, uncle Hayden." He buttered me and laughed out loud at his innocent claims.

"Now go and open your gifts. As promised, I have bought you thirty gifts. As you are a big boy now. You are three." I said and he clapped his hands in excitement. I chuckled and straightened up his tuxedo jacket. The door opened and Maria stepped into the room. 

"Awww… look at my little baby Zeus. He looks as handsome as his father. How lovely." She said in a cute baby tone. Zeus gave her his hands and she carried him. She turned around and mouthed thank you towards me. I mouthed you're welcome and she stepped out of the room. I shook my head and followed them behind.

Zeus got busy opening his gifts and I was standing beside him. Just then, someone bumped hard into my back. I turned around and I was fast enough to catch her before she would have gotten hurt. I literally got lost in her beautiful green orbs. She was stunning as a fairy and innocent as an angel. She gulped hard as I was staring at her face shamelessly.

"KISS! KISS! KISS! KISS! KISS! KISS!" I heard people yelling around us. I looked around and found every single eye on us. She gulped hard and her cheeks turned rosy pink. Her beauty was breathtaking. I looked up and found mistletoe hanging upon our heads. I looked back at her then stared at her pink lips. I looked back into her eyes to ask her permission. She nodded her head and I smiled. 

I stood straight and wrapped an arm around her waist to pull her closer to me. With the other hand, I cupped her beautiful face. She rested her hands on my biceps. I leaned in and captured her lips in a loving long kiss. I licked her lower lip and she quickly parted her lips. I pushed my tongue inside her mouth and caressed her tongue with mine. A soft moan escaped her lips but died in my mouth. I broke the kiss and rested my forehead with her forehead. "I am Hayden Cerberus." I told her my name, hoping to get her name as well.

"Evangeline Darkstone. Merry Christmas, Hayden." She replied and her voice was like the song of the angel in my ears.

"Merry Christmas, Evangeline." I replied and slammed my lips on her juicy pink lips again.
