JOYCE POV
Edward and I were at the training grounds almost all day. My body was tired and sore, I'm getting too old of this. Honestley, I can not wait for Tyler to take over as Beta. At least then Edward and I could finally retire and get some rest. Being a Beta female wasn't all that easy. The constant training, helping Luna Samantha out with her duties, being there for every pack event and not being able to just sit back and relax, and always being on alert in case something happened.
As much as I disliked Mason, our future Alpha, I did truly hope he was Alexandrias' mate. She was head over heels for him. They've been together for a while now. Honestly, even though he was our future Alpha, he was no good for my daughter. I've seen the way he looks at other she-wolves. And everyone knows that he's cheated on my daughter before. My poor Alex has spent so many nights crying over him. Yet, she still acts like he is the most important person in the world.

Alexandria POV It's been 2 days since I left the Demoncrest pack. My body felt weak. May won't stop howling in my head. I haven't even left my bed. Alexandria povWhen I woke up, I could instantly smell that he was here with me. I opened my eyes, and there he was. He was sitting in a chair next to my hospital bed, with his head laying down on the bed and his hand on mine. I couldn't help but smile. Alexandria's POV It was a quiet ride back to the Demoncrest pack grounds. The scenery on the way was absolutely stunning. It was late summer, and everything was green and beautiful.
