Alexandria pov

When I woke up, I could instantly smell that he was here with me. I opened my eyes, and there he was. He was sitting in a chair next to my hospital bed, with his head laying down on the bed and his hand on mine. I couldn't help but smile. I wanted to give him a chance to explain, but i'm not sure I need one. I know he made her leave, and I guess I kinda understand. He's an Alpha, and has been looking for his mate for years.

I reached over to the bedside table and grabbed a cup of water. My mouth was dry, I wonder how long I've been out. May was still sleeping, so I doubt she'll be any help right now. I quickly downed the water, and sat the cup back on the table. I looked down and just stared at Wyatt. He was perfect. I feel terrible for leaving in the first place, but considering what happened, I feel justified. 

I started lightly running my fingers through his hair, and goddess I could do this forever. His hair was so soft.
