Melio's POV

Once we stepped out of the elevator, I was almost dragged into his office, he held onto my hand so tight that I was grateful he didn't have me by the neck, for I would have died of pure exhaustion.  I saw how Mark looked at us, I wanted to correct whatever impression he had but a big bad wolf bit me to it.

"Mark, get the files ready and ensure to let Hail know to get the jet ready for tomorrow's travel." Ma4k nodded leaving me with this man who was ready to munch on every bone in me.  With that, he continued kissing me.

His kiss, rough, hungry, and yearning. It was like that of a lover who was mad at his beloved, yet was needy of her in every sense. I did respond, with fullness, not at his pace, but I did surely respond.  While  prying further into my mouth, he did bite me slightly and this earned him a moan from me.

How he worshipped me, when prying further I let out an audible moan. I do not know why and for what reason, Shaun abruptly stopped in his tracks.

"You're a virgin that why. I do not do virgins." I was shocked. So that could also be the reason why Christian wanted us to take things slow. Cause I was a virgin.

"Why? I asked. I knew this would hurt me the most but I needed him to answer, why treat me like that? Why make me high on wet pleasure, and suddenly dry out with a towel?.

I left with whatever dignity I had left. I will not cry, I will not have any regrets. I just feel stupid for letting him play me like that. Going to my desk I could feel Mark's eyes on me. So I said to him;

"Boss didn't fuck me Mark, so stop starring." I know I sounded rude, but I needed a place, something or someone to vent on. While trying to fax emails and read through contract proposals, Troy's call came in.

"I know it's a bit too sudden, but I had someone bring flowers to you. You will see them in the next 20 minutes."

"Thank you, but you didn't have to". I said feeling bad that I let a man like my boss use, when a man like Troy is ready to do all for me.

"It's the least I can do, see you later." I know I should have told Troy about my  overtime work this evening,  but I would not. I would leave her by  5 and go for my date by 7.

After the call, I saw a lady walk in, she looked so much like Joyce, then she worked closer to me.

"Hello ma'am ".

"I am here to see your boss". But before she could finish I heard her call out my name.

"Melio?" I looked at her again, this time she had taken off her sunglasses.

"What the hell are you doing here?" The audacity

"Trying out new clothes". I said rolling my eyes at her. After taking Christian away from me. She was about to curse me out when Mark walked in and led her into Shaun's office. While she was in there I kept  pacing in my mind, wondering what she wants with Shaun, it now feels like every man I want has a connection with her.  I distracted my thought by giving Mac a run down of my day and every shenanigan that happened between myself and Shaun.

"Girl, do not let that man get to you, and have you heard?

"Heard what now? I asked her ,wondering why Mackenzie didn't study journalism.

"Shaun's first love is in town." I then realized why Joyce worked into the place like she owned it. So she's Shaun's first love. Perfect.

"Whatever, good for him. Girl I have to go, I need to get a package from Troy." With that I disconnected the call and was headed for Shaun's office to let him know I would be stepping out to get some stuff. I knocked. And was told to come in.

"Sir I will..." I was cut short in my line of words as I saw Shaun and Joyce in the exact same position we were on earlier, only this time she had her legs wrapped around him.

Nope, it's not about being a virgin, his not just into fat chics.
