"In your arms, I am home."
"Food is ready, querida." [Darling] Alvaro spoke as his Evie walked down the stairs and into the kitchen. He was the first to shower after their play time at the yard, his wife insisted that she takes care of the dogs before she takes care of herself.
He didn't appreciate it one bit, but what can he do?
"Wow." she spoke, amazement in her eyes as she surveyed the food in the table. It was almost lunch, so Alvaro decided to cook brunch.
The satisfaction he felt when Genevieve saw the food was worth the challenge of cooking food for who knows how long. It's been a long time since he last held a knife.
Her eyes were still wide with amazement when he neared her, urging her to take a seat so they could start eating. He noticed the other day that Evie's body was a bit on the petite side, and he wanted to make sure that she was healthy.
