“Revania! Don’t touch my car!” I shouted, running out of the apartment lobby. My hand nearly reached the car door that Revania was about to open, a sinister smile on her face.

She turned casually. “Devia… you really dare to confront me, huh? How amusing.”

I glared at her, closing the distance between us to just a few steps. “I won’t let you interfere with my life. My car, my apartment, my life—everything I’ve built myself, stay away from it!”

Revania laughed coldly. “You’re impressive, but remember… I’ve known Argan longer than you. And I know how to seize opportunities. You’re just waiting for the moment you fall.”

I clenched my fists, my breath quickening. “Then let’s see who can truly endure.”

Behind her, her assistant sneered. “Hahaha… look at this! Mrs. Devia daring to face Miss Revania alone. How amusing.”

I gave the assistant a cold glare. “You’re just a shadow of Revania. Stay out of this!”

Revania smirked, stepping closer. “A shadow? I decide who holds power here. You… are only learning to walk on this battlefield.”

I narrowed the distance, looking her straight in the eyes. “Then let’s see who can last longer!”

---

Suddenly, heavy footsteps sounded from the side. Argantara appeared, his face flushed, eyes sharp. “Revania! What are you doing here?!”

Revania turned, a sinister smile still on her face. “Argan… relax. I’m just checking something. Devia is overreacting, how amusing.”

I looked at Argantara, my voice trembling but firm. “She’s trying to ruin my life, Argan! She almost forced open my car door!”

Argantara snorted, glaring at Revania with anger. “Enough! This is too much. Do you think you can mess with Devia in front of her own apartment?”

Revania looked at him coldly. “Argan… don’t act so high and mighty. I know you best. Devia is just a weak wife. I know her weaknesses.”

I stepped forward, fury in my eyes. “I am not weak! I will not let you control my life, Revania!”

Argantara looked at me, conflicted. “Devia…” His voice was low, tense. “Calm down… don’t get carried away by emotion.”

“Carried away by emotion? She’s trying to take everything from me, including what should be rightfully mine!” I almost shouted.

Revania stepped closer, looking at me with pure cynicism. “Rightfully yours? You think you have any right? You’re just a woman forced to marry me. I… I am the one who’s always been by Argan’s side!”

I stared at her coldly, holding back my anger. “Argan belongs to no one but himself. And I am no longer a woman you can manipulate or humiliate!”

Argantara took a deep breath, staring sharply at Revania. “You’ve gone too far! Anywhere, even in front of Devia’s apartment, you have no right to touch or threaten her!”

Revania smirked, but for the first time, there was a flicker of doubt in her eyes. “Argan… you’re still defending your wife?”

I looked at Argantara, my voice soft but firm. “Argan… I can face Revania on my own. But I want you to know—I no longer depend on you. I stand here, not out of love, but for my life, my dignity.”

Argantara stared at me for a long moment, his face tense, then slowly nodded. “I… understand, Devia. I may be late, but I respect you.”

Revania glared at us both, her face red with anger, but she could do nothing. I gave a faint smile, looking at her sharply. “You can try again, Revania. But don’t forget… this time, I’m in control.”

She looked at me, then spun around with quick steps, leaving my apartment. Her assistant followed, still watching me with a mix of awe and resentment.

I looked at Argantara, my breath still heavy. “Argan… you see for yourself. I don’t need you to protect me. I can stand on my own.”

Argantara exhaled, his eyes full of consideration. “I know… and I’m glad to see you strong. But don’t let Revania keep disturbing your life.”

I closed the office door slowly, my breath still caught in my chest. My heart was in chaos, yet there was something different—a sense of release I had never felt in all the years I had been an overlooked wife.“Devia… are you okay?” my secretary’s hesitant voice came from behind me.I turned, giving a faint smile. “Yes, Lina. I’m fine. Today, I’m taking control of my own life.”She nodded, but her eyes were still full of concern. “But… what about Argantara and Revania?”I took a deep breath, staring at the office ceiling. “Let them be. I have my own plans now. No longer relying on a husband who never truly cared, and I won’t let Revania destroy my dignity again.”---The next day, I arrived at the office with steady steps. All eyes were on me—not only because I was a manager returning after internal conflict, but also because the divorce rumors had spread quickly.I sat at my desk, reviewing scattered reports, yet there was a strange sense of relief. It felt like freedom from the chai

My fists clenched, breaths ragged, eyes fixed sharply on my husband who was adjusting his work suit.Argantara froze mid-motion. His gaze darkened, piercing me with warning. “Devia, can you not talk about divorce in my mother’s house?” His voice was low, tense. “Do you know what will happen if she finds out we’re divorcing? I could be disowned!”I swallowed a bitter laugh, the bitterness pressing on my chest. “Did you forget? Weren’t you the one who divorced me first? So why are you hesitating now?”Argantara took a long breath, bowing his head briefly before looking at me with fiery eyes. “Devia, you—!” He nearly shouted, holding back anger that was clearly visible in his jaw. His fists were clenched, but a flicker of doubt lingered in his eyes.I stepped closer, staring at him without fear. “Argantara, isn’t this a good thing? If I agree to th

His gaze immediately shifted to me, darkening. “Devia, can you not talk about divorce in my mother’s house?” his voice pressed, full of warning. “Do you know what will happen if she finds out we’re divorcing? I’ll be disowned as her son!”I scoffed, the bitterness stabbing through my chest. “Have you forgotten? Weren’t you the one who divorced me first? His fists clenched, but I could see doubt flickering in his eyes.I stepped closer, locking my gaze onto his without fear. “Argantara, isn’t this a good thing? If I agree to divorce, you can marry Revania. Isn’t that what you’ve always wanted?”For a moment, silence filled the room. Our breaths clashed in the air, tense, like
