"What are you doing?" Lori asks, looking at James. "You look like you've just seen the Big Bad Wolf."

"You could say that, too," James says, looking at the phone in his hand.

"Stallion, did he say that Mer was his mate or did I go crazy?" he asks his wolf in horror.
