Chapter 54

In the bathroom, the shower water flows so fast. Carver turned his face away from the splashing water which made it almost hard for him to breathe.

"I forgot to bring soap."

"I think it's still in the suitcase," said Carver without moving an inch to take the shower gel bottle which was still in the suitcase.

"I'm cold when I have to get on the floor wet like this," Violeth ordered.

Carver had to shower in the upstairs room that was supposed to be their room. "Yes, yes one minute."

As he took a few steps toward the stairs, Carver was startled by the sudden appearance of someone stepping out of the house. The shadow is visible through the window.

Carver paused and stared out the window. A person's silhouette had disappeared behind the wall. He thought someone had bad intentions.
