Angels POV

After a couple of days it was finally time for me to get out of hospital and be at home. The nurses had sent me home with what felt like a suitcase full of medication for inflammation, pain and antibiotics as one of my wounds was getting a little weepy.

Somehow, Christie and Julian had arranged to work a few less shifts and alternate they’re working pattern so that somebody could always be with me. I was feeling so grateful. Somehow I had never realised how close these two amazing people were to me, Rider clearly had me blinded by love.

Rider had tried to visit still while I was in hospital, but every time he got turned away and on one occasion I heard Juli telling him that he needs to stay away from me full stop and adding, “ who is the liar now you dirty cheat?”

From what I was told Rider has agreed to back off and to leave me alone, he has been told that I am well and truly finished with him. I just hope he stays away.

    Angel POVI saw Damon stumble down with blood pouring out of him, I screamed his name but he seemed completely blacked out!     Damon’s POV When I rushed off from breakfast I found out rogues had been seen at our boarder which is why so many warriors were in the manor and I didn’t want to worry Angel. I didn’t realise she had planned to go out so I left her to enjoy time with her friend thinking they would stay in the Manor, I should have known better but I didn’t think. When the rogues attacked I knew they were looking for her, dad grabbed mum and I did ask him to grab Angel until he told me she had gone out. It was manic, I had to help clear them from the house, but once they realised she wasn’t here they backed off, now however they were heading in the direction I suspected she had gone. I mindlink her to get her location and she’s exactly where I anticipated, shit these fuckers are heading her way! She knows how urgent it is for her to hide so let’s just hope I get there in time to protect her and hope she can hide well. I am running as fast as my legs can carry me and my best warriors are on my heel.

    Angel’s POVWhen we get to our room we’re quiet and simply snuggle. I quickly drift off to sleep but I can still feel Damon’s turmoil, there wasn’t anything he could have done about Andre and he was in the same boat as me so we had no idea about what was happening.When I wake up the next day, he’s still asleep and he seems settled. I gently get up out of bed and head for a shower.
