Chapter 17

IVY’S POV

I am still in confusion. I really do not know what to do. How in the moon goddess’ name were they able to locate me. I am still yet to understand this.

“How dare yon!?” Taika thunders at me. She gives me another slap apart from the first. I press my hand on my left cheeks and tears gather in my eyes.

“What did you think you were doing.” She laughs hysterically and shakes her head. “So you want to run away? To where even? You are just so stupid. You just proved to me today that you are even more stupid than I thought” she frowns her face and grits her teeth.

My mom stands mute behind her, throwing shades at me with her eyes. My heart is pounding so hard because I know that I am done for.
