TAIKA’S POV

“Watch if she is near” I say to zoey while roaming around u easily in the store room. My eyes are fixed on the door waiting patiently or rather impatient for Ivy.

I have been waiting for a couple of minutes extra than the stipulated time I told her. Or “has she run away again” I ponder and take a full stop to my pacing. My eyes exacerbate and my facial crumples. But I didn’t think Ivy had the guts to escape after the experience of last time. I shake my head and a comforting and assuring smile crawls in.

I move to a table that is beside some loads of bags of food. I brood it’s rice. I place my hand on it and recline softly, allowing my butt press on the edges of it. “She is here” Zoey walks back to me and announces. A smile clambers the ladder of my face. I flick my eyes maniacally and stand straight with my hands tucked and placed on my breast.
