IAN’S POV

After Raven’s surgery was done, the doctor assured us that he was fine and completely out of danger. The bullet had missed anything vital, and with enough rest, he would recover fully. Hearing that lifted a heavy weight off my chest. I made sure to tell Wayne myself.

He deserved to hear it directly. Watching his shoulders finally relax after everything nearly broke me. Now that the immediate danger had passed, my focus shifted to one thing only. Helping Willow get her memories back.

  • FALLING FOR THE BAD BOY    UNBEARABLE JEALOUSY

IAN'S POVI walked into Raven's room and saw his mom and the guys standing around him, talking like nothing happened. I stopped at the door for a second. I just stared. I needed to see it clearly before I believed it. I let out a long breath. I didn’t even realise I had been holding it. He was awake.I don’t think I fully believed it when Wayne called me earlier. When he told me Raven had opened his eyes, my whole body went cold. It felt unreal. For a few seconds, I couldn’t even respond. It was like my mind refused to accept it. I kept thinking about the way Raven looked when we brought him in. Pale. Still. Too quiet. When Wayne said he woke up, I got this strange chill. Like something inside me didn’t want to get my hopes up. For a minute, I honestly felt like I was in some kind of trance telling me he wasn’t going to make it. Like I was preparing myself for the worst without even knowing it.That’s why I came myself. I had to see it with my own eyes. But clearly, I wasn’t the first

  • FALLING FOR THE BAD BOY    BETWEEN GUILT AND INNOCENT

WAYNE'S POVI opened the door to Raven's room. As I saw him on that bed, tears fell out of my eyes uncontrollably. It felt like I was seeing a ghost. The door barely made a sound as it opened, but the room felt loud anyway. Too quiet. The kind of quiet that pressed against my ears and made my chest feel tight. The smell of antiseptic hit me first, sharp and clean, nothing like the warmth Raven usually carried with him. My eyes landed on the bed immediately, like they were drawn there by something stronger than me. Raven. He was lying there so still that for a second, my mind refused to accept it. Machines surrounded him, tubes and wires connected to his body like he was being held together by things that weren’t supposed to touch him. His chest rose and fell slowly, evenly, but it didn’t ease the fear crawling up my spine. It only made it worse. It looked too fragile. Too temporary.I took slow steps towards his bed. The more I moved, the more I felt my stomach tightening. I hate th

Hearing that lifted a heavy weight off my chest. I made sure to tell Wayne myself. He deserved to hear it directly. Watching his shoulders finally relax after everything nearly broke me. Now that the immediate danger had passed, my focus shifted to one thing only. Helping Willow get her memories back.I stood beside Raven’s bed, staring at his unconscious body. The steady beeping of the machine beside him was the only sound filling the room. It was strange seeing him this still, knowing how loud and chaotic everything had been only hours ago. My phone rang suddenly, pulling me out of my thoughts. I reached into my pocket and answered it."Hey, Mom," I said quietly.Your father is awake, she told me.My eyes widened instantly. I straightened up so fast that my chair scraped against the floor.

  • FALLING FOR THE BAD BOY    BACK TO THE PAST

WILLOW’S POVThe ambulance arrived soon enough. Paramedics rushed Wayne and Raven into separate trucks, their movements fast and urgent. I barely registered what was happening at first. My head was ringing too loudly, like everything around me was underwater. I noticed two of them suddenly turning toward me, their expressions shifting.Confusion gathered in my head. Then I felt it. Warmth trickles down the side of my face. Blood. Before I could react, Ian was already there. He pulled me out of the car carefully, one arm wrapped around me as if I would shatter if he let go. He guided me toward the ambulance. "You did very well, Willow. I'm so sorry I let this happen to you," he mumbled, his voice thick with guilt. The sirens blared. Red and blue lights flashed everywhere. Police voices overlapped with paramedics shouting instructions. My vision blurred until faces became shadows. My hearing dulled, fading in and out. My body felt like it had been dragged through chaos and thrown back t

  • FALLING FOR THE BAD BOY    DECOY

WILLOW'S POVMy eyes fluttered open. They felt so heavy, like they had been pinned together for a long time now. I was feeling lightheaded and sick for no reason. My eyes wandered about, searching for where I was. I noticed Wayne was right next to me. I gasped in shock at the sight. Dried blood all over his face. I scooted closer to him even when my hands and legs were tied, and I still managed to get to him. I checked if he was still breathing. I sighed when I checked his pulse. "Wayne," I called out his name, hoping he'd wake up. But judging from what it looks like, he was hit with a bottle on his head. His limp body lay there on the ground. "C'mon, Wayne......you need to wake up," I said. My eyes moved towards the shattered glass on the floor. I scooted closer to the longer one and grabbed it immediately. Instantly, the doorknob twisted. I instantly manoeuvre the glass under my shirt. Someone walked in. I looked up to see Mr Blackwood smiling at me. Nathan walked in behi

  • FALLING FOR THE BAD BOY    CLOSING IN

RAVEN'S POV I waited in the hospital, Mark's ward, as he slept peacefully. The doctor said he was fine, but he lost a ton of blood. He needed a blood transfusion, and my blood group matched his. I had to give him mine. I had called my mom and told her everything. The police are currently looking for him. I wasn't sticking with the police. I sighed and held my phone tight in my hand. I dialled Wayne's number multiple times, but it wasn't reaching. I took a deep breath and sighed. I heard a groan. I looked at Mark to see him staring at me in fear. "I'm sorry, sir," he said. I shook my head. "It's not your fault," I replied. I know he wouldn't do it on his own. It was all Wayne's doing. I'll find him. I just need to know who got him and why. "Do you know who did this?" I asked. "Yes.....that boy," he stated. My attention was fully on him. "That kid at that party that tried to hurt him," he said. Nathan. I got on my feet, and my fist kept clenching. I quickly called my uncle
