REFUSED REJECTED (NINE)

Like vomit of fur thrown by a cat, the two men were immediately thrown from behind the bushes and rolled over the deserted sidewalk. The two of them frantically got up and ran towards the opposite direction from the alley exit which was already filled with lots of cops. It was damn bad for both of them this time because while they were checking at Alma Emerson's house, a group of cops came to take the investigation and made them suddenly panic.

"Damn, how could the cops come like ants swarming over sugar. There are so many of them."

"You murdered her, Jim!" shouted Bratt.

After they were quite far from Alma's house, they decided to stop for a moment while catching their breath and were still panting.

Jim looked fiercely at Bratt next to him, he then punched Bratt in the arm as hard as he could. But unfortunately, it's just like a mother's hitting a baby's rump, very soft. “I told you I wasn't! I just took her money."
