FIVE YEARS LATER…

Georgia heard the commotion outside and she quickly rushed there to see what it was.

“Keira, Kelvin, Kelsey what's going on here?" She asked as she saw them fighting over a toy.

*Mommy.. “ Keira pouted as she called her Mommy. Then she ran to hug her.

" Yes, dear? “ Georgia replied, carrying her up from the ground.

" It's Kelsey and Kelvin. They both bully me because I'm a girl.. “ she reported her two brothers

"No, no," Georgia said, looking at the two boys sternly. "We don't bully anyone, and we certainly don't bully because of gender. So what happened? “ She asked.

The two boys looked sheepish, their heads bowed in shame.

"I'm sorry, Mom," Kelvin said, his voice quiet.

"We were just playing, and she insisted on having the car. She should play with her dolls" Kelsey said accusingly.

"Just because Keira is a girl doesn't mean she can't play with cars if she wants to," Georgia said, her voice firm.

"And just because you are boys doesn't mean you can't play with dolls if you want to, you should apologize to your sister. You guys should protect her, you know.. “ she pointed out.

The boys both nodded, looking sorry.

"Sorry, Mom," Kelsey apologized. "We won't do it again."

Georgia nodded, satisfied.

"Now, I want you both to apologize to Keira.. “ she requested and they both apologized.

" And Keira, stop fighting with your brothers.. “

" Okay, mom.." Keira said in her low voice as Georgia pecked her forehead.

“Come here, boys.." They both ran to hug their mother as she reached out for them.

Planting a kiss on each of their foreheads.

The triplets were the best thing that had ever happened to her. They healed her wound from five years ago and she never once regretted birthing them.

Georgia had been through so much, but her children had helped her heal. They were her light in the darkness, her reason for getting up each day. She loved them more than anything else in the world.

Keira tugged on her sleeve.

"Mommy," she said, her big green eyes looking up at Georgia.

"Can we go to the park?"

Georgia smiled down at her daughter. "Of course, sweetie," she said.

"Let your aunt get back, we'll all go together.." she said and they all jumped happily.

" Yahh!! "

"Aunt Anna should come soon!" Kelvin exclaimed, jumping up and down in excitement.

Anna was Georgia's best friend, and the kids adored her. She was always so much fun, and she always brought them the best gifts. They couldn't wait to see what she had in store for them this time.

"Come on, let's get you all dressed," Georgia said, ushering the kids back into the house.

As they got ready, they all chattered excitedly about what they thought Aunt Anna would bring them.

Anna helped Georgia five years ago when everyone turned their back on her.

She helped her throughout her pregnancy period till her delivery and till she settled down enough to make a living for herself.

Anna was more than a sister to her. She was a goddess.

The doorbell rang and she went to the door to receive Anna.

“Aunt Anna…,” Keira called happily as she ran to hug Anna.

"There's my sweet little princess!" Anna smiled, picking up Keira and hugging her tight.

"I've missed you so much!"

"Aunt Anna!" Kelsey and Kelvin rushed forward, eager for their turn at a hug.

"I've missed you two as well!" Anna said, ruffling their hair.

"How have you all been?"

The kids were chattering away, eager to tell Anna all about what they had been up to since they had last seen her.

“You all should go okay with your toys, I have something to discuss with Mommy.." she smiled at them and they all hurried away shouting at the top of their voices.

“Kids, so noisy.." Georgia shook her head as they both sat on the couch.

“What is it you want to talk about?" She asked because whatever it was, seemed urgent.

“I'm going to the Blue Moon pack.." Anna announced as Georgia's smile instantly fell from her face.

Georgia felt her stomach drop. The Blue Moon Pack was her past, a past she had tried hard to forget. But it seemed like it was coming back to haunt her.

"What does the Blue Moon pack have to do with anything?" she asked, trying to keep her voice steady.

“It's my mother. She's sick. I have to go there.." Anna explained and Georgia finally understood things. Anna's family still lived there.

“You should come with me Georgia,” Anna suggested but Georgia shook her head.

“You know I can never go back there. That place holds painful memories.." she uttered. Her family left her that night to her own Faye, she almost died. She wandered for days, even hungry without shelter. If not for Anna. She would have committed suicide. But thank goodness she didn't do that. She was blessed with the best gifts ever.

"I know how hard it was for you," Anna said gently.

"And I know how much you suffered. But I also know how strong you are, and how you were able to pick yourself up and move on. You're an amazing woman, Georgia, and I'm so proud of you."

Georgia felt her eyes well up with tears. She had been through so much, and it was always her sister who had been there for her.

"Thank you," she said, her voice thick with emotion.

"You've always been there for me, and I don't know what I would have done without you.”

“What are friends for.." Anna chuckled as they hugged each other.

“You now have your own like Georgia. With beautiful kids. You should move on, and forget about the past. I really want you to come with me.." Anna confessed as Georgia's jaw worked.

Anna was her best friend, there was no way she would possibly tell her no.

Georgia knew that Anna was right, that she needed to let go of the past and focus on the present. But it was so hard, she had lost so much that night. She had lost her family, her pack, everything she had ever known. How could she just forget about all that?

“Alright, let's go to Blue Moon pack.." she announced bracing herself.

Anna's eyes lit up. "You mean it?" she asked, sounding hopeful. "You're really willing to go back?"

"I am," Georgia said, more confidently this time.

"But I need you to promise me something."

"Anything," Anna said, eager to agree to anything that would make this happen.

"Promise me that if it gets too much for me, we can leave," Georgia said, looking Anna in the eye.

She didn't want her kids to grow up in a toxic environment.

“I promise.."

“Great, it's a trip then.." she announced standing up from the couch.

“Kids!!" She called as her triplets

ran to meet her in the sitting room.

“Yes Mommy.." they all answered in unison.

“Let's get packing. We have a long trip ahead..”
