~ISSA

"How do you intend on living in the same house with the girl you almost banged at the club last night?" He asked

I shot him a stare. He had chosen a white shirt and blue jeans today. He had always liked things that made him look younger.

He was my best friend— the only person I trusted in the world as well as my Beta. Perhaps, this was the reason why he had the guts to ask me this question.

"I'll ignore her and move my attention to someone or something else, Miles." I assured myself it was possible even if my wolf stirred in protest.

The sun was beginning to set and it was a beautiful sight. We were leaning against my car as we waited for my supposed niece to make her decision.

"You and I both know that once you become obsessed with a woman, you won't get over her until you bury your damned cork into her."

There was so much confidence in his voice that it got on my nerves. How could he be so sure that living with her would be pure torture for me?

"She's my fucking niece for

  • FATED TO MY UNCLE   167. REALITY AFTER DISTRACTION

~YULIAMy smirk deepened at his command. I was completely left vulnerable to him. Usually, I was always the one calling the shots and dominating his wolf but right now, he seemed eager to dominate me. And honestly, this worked fine for me too. Surrendering to him, succumbing to his command was exactly what I needed. I could forget the responsibilities— the burdens on my shoulders. The lives at stake— if I made a wrong move. I could push them all aside and focus only on this moment with him— the man I loved. My mate. "Yes Daddy. . ." I whispered. Then I slowly and deliberately began to lift my butt up so that I was now resting on both my knees and my face. "Now spread your legs for Daddy," he whispered. I slowly parted my knees, leaving me completely exposed to him. "That's a good girl. . ." "I want you in me now!" I suddenly blurted out, knowing that I would get punished for speaking out of turn. "Did I ask you to speak?" I giggled. "Maybe. . ." "For this, you will be pu

  • FATED TO MY UNCLE   166. SEXY DISTRACTION

~YULIAThe drive home was quiet. No one breathed a word. I only stared out the window the entire time to prevent Issa from asking me any questions and I think he also wanted it this way so that he would avoid talking about what happened with Iran. I was lost in so many thoughts. Thoughts of Albus' death. Thoughts of the prophecy and thoughts of what was to come next after this move. Whatever plan was in motion already scared me and all I could wish for was to forget. "We're here," Issa broke the heavy silence and I looked away from the window only to realise that we were back at his home. The new home he had moved us to with fewer maids and guards. I simply nodded before pushing the door open and walking out. I could feel Issa's eyes on my every move but he did not say a word. I heard him come out of the car and follow me quietly behind. "Are you hungry? Do you need anything to eat?" He asked behind me. If hunger had been my greatest problem then I would have at least appreci

  • FATED TO MY UNCLE   165. THE PISSED DEAN

~YULIA"How did you get in here?" She demanded again. I swallowed hard and stared at Iran, hoping to find him with a remorseful expression but he of course looked unbothered. "You don't own this place, Davina. . ." She narrowed her eyes at him before instantly starting to walk towards us. I realised that the situation could escalate if I did not do something, so I spoke up. "W— we didn't mean to. We just want answers." Davina did not even look at me. Her anger remained directed at Iran and I feared it went deeper than us just breaking into the library. "You don't get to walk back in here and claim that I own nothing here when we both know you fled from that responsibility!" She spat as she glared at him. I widened my eyes at this piece of information. Part of me knew I had to speak up now but my curiosity got the better of me. "Don't tell me you're still angry about me walking out on you, Davina. You should have known that you were not enough to satisfy my ever hungering desi

  • FATED TO MY UNCLE   164. THE SECRETS WITHIN

~YULIAI was hit with a thousand memories all at once. Yet I was unable to grab on to any of them. They rushed too fast past my mind. Sounds echoed. Voices screamed. My wolf churned with restlessness and a pain that felt too familiar yet unrecognizable. I was hit with an overwhelming emotion that was even stronger than the emotion I felt when I saw Albus' dead body pinned against his wall. It brought instant tears to my eyes and my knees almost gave way. I released a shaky breath as I looked back up at the wall and right before my eyes, the strange symbols began to glow and reshape themselves into actual letters that I could read. "I— I can read it. . ." I stuttered in disbelief. "What does it say?" Iran asked.I released another shaky breath as I waited for all the words to form. "Light reveals. . ." I paused as the next lines formed. "And Darkness remembers." It caused an instant involuntary shiver to run down my spine. I widened my eyes in shock as I staggered back. For so

  • FATED TO MY UNCLE   163. OUT OF CONTROL

~YULIAMy body went cold. My heart began to pound heavily. This was because I could feel it. It was eerie. It was nagging at my core. Iran was about to do something bad and I was the only one who had a sliver of luck at stopping him. "What are you up to, Iran?" My voice was firm. I remembered that talking confidently— using my power on Iran could force him to succumb to me. But he only chuckled. It was as if his zeal to do whatever evil he had planned was greater than my power over him."You'll soon find out. . . And I promise you, it's all in your favor." His voice came out barely over a whisper and it caused chills to run down my spine. I hated this feeling. I hated how helpless I felt. I hated that there was nothing I could do to stop what was about to happen. Whatever evil he had planned. I released a shaky shudder once he parked the car. The sun had long gone down and the crescent moon seemed to be the only witness of what was to come. I quietly followed Iran as he le

  • FATED TO MY UNCLE   162. DEATH OF THE WIZARD

~YULIAI released a shaky breath when the scream finally left my lips. The world stopped. All I heard was echoing sounds as Issa screamed or muttered some things to me. I could not tell what he was saying. I did not need to know. All I knew was already before me. The gift. The cruel gift. Was in front of me. The Darkness did not bluff. He was telling the truth. He could destroy everything. He could crush my world and crumble it apart.Albus was dead because of me. He must have known. He knew. That was why he wanted me out of the house. A shaky cry escaped my lips as I stared at Albus' lifeless body still nailed to the wall. And it dawned on me in that moment that what we were facing was greater than Helena or Deucalion. It was greater than me. "Who dared to do this to him? Even Helena wouldn't. . ." Issa muttered shakily. He was just as shocked as I was. I felt guilt hit me hard. I had never felt this guilty in my entire life. My tremors intensified. Tears started strea
