~YULIA
My wolf came alive as I took in every aspect of his features.
It was the same dark clothes. The same dark hair. The same dangerous and mysterious aura from last night. Worst, his green eyes seemed to bore into my soul as he approached us.
My wolf began to dance with excitement as I remembered my escapades with him. The way his fingers assaulted my softness. The way his lips almost transported me to another realm.
What was this man doing here? How did he know that this was were I lived?
Was he a stalk— I gasped.
"I knew you would be shocked by his existence but isn't this reaction too much?" Lana asked.
"Girl! He's the same guy I met at the club yesterday. He followed me!" I exclaimed in disbelief.
That was when the beautiful stranger reached us and smiled. "I didn't expect to meet you here," he whispered and his voice affected my wolf.
But today, I refused to fall under his spell. He could not make me do anything stupid with that charming face of his.
"Yeah right, you expect me to believe that?" I asked.
"What do you want to believe then?" He asked as he tried to sway me with his charm and fake innocence.
"I know that you're following me around. You're a stalker and a pervert!" I suddenly snapped.
He staggered back, visibly shocked by my words. So he corked his brows at me in amusement. "That's a first. I've been called many things but never a pervert nor a stalker," he slowly said.
His amusement angered me even more and I was suddenly irritated by him. This was probably his game. This was how he swayed unsuspecting young girls to get under their skirts.
"I know your tricks. I can see right through you. You're a playboy and you play with women's hearts. It's fun to you, isn't it?" I stated as I poked my finger at him.
He looked down at it before moving his unfazed eyes to me. It was as if everything I did fascinated him in a sort of way and it was really getting under my skin.
"Is this what you think of me?" He asked ever so softly.
"Girl. . .I think you're taking it too far. I think you should hear him out. Maybe it's all just a big coincidence," Lana chimed in and began to pull my arm in an attempt to stop me.
"Let me go, Lana. I have to get to the bottom of this. Can't you see he's a stalker?" I spat before turning back to him. "I was drunk yesterday and I had no idea what I was doing but right now, I'm in my right sense of mind and there is no way I'm falling for your tricks again!"
He lifted his brows at me again as he listened attentively to my words. This made me feel as if he was mocking me, as if he wanted me to show off all of my stupidity while he remained the calm and wise one.
"I really think you should stop," Lana urged.
"I know what to do to people like you. Simply telling you off is not going to do. I have to get my friends to teach you a lesson. They'll surround you and beat you up!" I yelled in his face.
He tilted his head slightly at me. "Is that what you really want? You want to see me beaten black and blue?" He asked.
Did this man think I was bluffing? What was fucking wrong with him?
"I can't let anyone else hit me but for you, I'll make an exception on the condition that you do it yourself," he whispered as his gaze burned into mine.
My wolf stirred and I could swear that I felt butterflies begin to flutter violently in my stomach.
How could this man be flirting while getting attacked by me? How was he so good at it?
"You can start now, if you want. . ." He trailed.
My eyes went wide when I saw him bring his hands to his halfway exposed chest. He started to play with the button as if he wanted to take it apart.
"You've lost your mind! In fact, you're a psychopath. You're sick!" I snapped as I glared back at him in disbelief.
He grinned at me and my wolf began to do a seductive dance within my mind. She wanted him and she was becoming dangerous, so much so that she could push me to him when I least expected it.
"How can one man be so sexy?" Lana asked as she drooled.
I gasped as I took in her pathetic state. "Control yourself, Lana!" I exclaimed.
She jumped instantly and cleaned away the drool from her mouth. This was it for me. This man had to leave.
My wolf stirred with protest at the actions that I was about to take but I ignored her. I knew what was best for us. She was just driven by lust.
"You need to leave," I stated as I folded my arms at him.
He chuckled darkly. "Unfortunately, I can't."
His response was firm, despite the amusement and I wondered if I would have to call the Pack police on him.
Just how desperate was he to get under my skirt?
"I'm not afraid to use force," I stated.
He swept his eyes over me and it reminded me of last night again.
"As much as I'd love to see you do that, I can't leave just yet. I have business in this house," he stated.
I narrowed my eyes at the pervert. "Get out of my house!" I yelled.
That was when Mr Rogers appeared beside us out of the blue. "I thought I heard voices," he began and bowed to the beautiful stranger. "Lycan Issa, forgive Yulia. She's been stubborn about the arrangements since I told her," he began.
This time, the stranger frowned just as I did the same at Rogers.
"Yulia?" He asked and I heard the disbelief in his voice.
"Lycan?" I asked instead. "You know this pervert?"
Rogers widened his eyes at us. "You have no idea. . ." He said in realisation as he looked from me to him.
There was silence as I began to connect the dots.
"This is Lycan Issa, Mariana's stepbrother— your uncle," he dropped the bomb.
~ISSAMy hands were trembling. My blood was slowly growing cold like ice fire was licking at my skin. It was almost as if I could touch the terror that was eating at me. The moon shone brightly in the sky, almost as if it was casting the way for me to get to the holy temple of the goddess. As if on queue, the high structure of the Moon temple came into view. It stood, a gray contrast to the silver moon above, almost as if it was waiting to collect the moon from the sky, drinking in her glory every chance it got. I soon parked my car at the lot of the temple and broke into a run the moment I jumped out. The scent in the air was wrong. A bitter metallic taste hit my nose and transferred to the back of my throat. My teeth began to tremble and I felt goosebumps scatter across my skin. Whatever this was, it was not good. Every step that brought me closer to the entrance, took every power from me not to roar. And by the time I entered the temple, I saw it and I froze. My heart sto
~ISSAI had watched Yulia the entire time. And the moment she touched that crystal, I felt it. It hit me hard. It burned my soul and all I had wanted was to run into that circle and drag her out. Perhaps it had been a bad idea after all— dragging her to this ceremony. Indeed Davina had done her a favor unknowingly by keeping her out of it. And I had been the one to drag her back into it.And when she finally snapped out of it, I saw it in her eyes. The weight, the pain, the despair. She had cried a lot and I had not been there to protect her."Let's go home," she whispered the moment she arrived before me. Once again, the sound of her voice caused a sharp ache in my heart. She looked so fragile and weak. I parted my lips slowly and wanted to ask her what was going on but I needed to hold it in until we were far away from all the prying eyes. So I nodded in response. My mind was unusually quiet though. Since last night's incident, I had not heard a word from Iran. Normally,
~YULIAThe world turned completely black. There was no sound. There were no emotions. There were no sights. There were no thoughts. There was just stillness. Cold, lonely yet somewhat comforting stillness. And for some reason, it brought tears to my eyes. The emotions I did not feel at the start, I began to feel as tears began to exit my eyes. There was so much pain at the depth of my core. Burning, raging and consuming pain. It was so great that my body began to tremble with confusion. My heart ached and I felt abandoned— doomed to face this alone.I had never felt this way before. I— I could not explain the feeling. It was suffocating. It was crippling. It was breaking me apart, piece by piece. I felt so hollow and empty. Was this how Darkness felt? I felt so lost. The comfort was now long gone. There was no end. It was a long deep void that stretched on for eternity. I could not tell where or who I was anymore. I had lost all sense of direction— all sense of being an
~YULIAIt was cold. Too cold. My vision was blurry. The ceremony was gone. Everyone at the ritual was gone. I wasn't even at the ceremony anymore. I was somewhere else and I had no idea where that was. Where was I? A cold chill ran down my spine. Yara shifted with uneasiness. My body trembled with what resembled fear and I found myself looking around wide eyed as my heart pounded heavily. Was this how it was supposed to feel? The Priestess had only mentioned that I would be hit by harsh images. So why had I been completely transported elsewhere?"Yulia. . ." A cold eerie voice called. My heart sank to my darkest core.It sounded too familiar and the sickening part was that I recognized it. I turned around and crimson eyes appeared in the deepest part of the shadows casted on the walls. "Impossible! I shouldn't be seeing you! I touched the Crystal of Light!" I roared as I staggered back in shock like he was a plague. Well, he was a plague! He chuckled. "Yes you did. . . But
~YULIA"You really think that I'll go alone to Albus' ceremony?" Issa demanded as he glared at me. I faced him with all the guilt and vulnerability I felt. My heart was bleeding. My soul was aching and I could hear it over and over, the same words replaying in my mind. I killed Albus. I released a shaky breath. "You read Davina's message. She doesn't want me there." He shook his head at me. "Davina does not have the right to stop you from paying your last respect to Albus. You think Albus wouldn't want you to be there? At his funeral?" "What is my presence there supposed to change? I killed him, Issa! I killed him!" I screamed as the tears began to flow down my cheeks again. That was when Issa instantly grabbed me and pulled me into his arms. "Don't ever say that, Yulia. You killed no one. You have never taken a life before. You're pure and innocent. You're the child of Light." My body began to tremble against his hold. I wept against his shoulder and my tears began to wet his w
~JAMALI smiled as I stared up at Lana from my bed. Her beautiful eyes seemed to glint even brighter than before. She could not stop holding my hands. "You scared the shit out of me. Do you know that?" She whispered as she moved her hands to my cheeks. They felt even warmer than when she had been holding my hands. My wolf shifted with satisfaction and I smiled at her. There was something about her warmth. And I felt it from the very first day she touched me. It had always had this celestial feeling. This magical feeling that I could not fully understand. Such that everytime she touched me, it always made me feel relaxed. It always brought me peace. And because she was touching me now, I felt the relaxing feelings hint my nerves and as a result, my healing abilities spiked up. The wound began to gradually close, debunking the doctor's earlier words that my healing senses had been affected and it would take a while for me to fully heal."You made me cry so much," she whispered i
