Who was I -before they broke me?

Because i remembered.

I remembered everything they did to me. And the flashbacks hurt.

The chains are broken but am i truly free?

Am i a monster or the victim myself?

I ran my hands through my hair, my whole chamber was dark as i had shut all the windows. I didn't deserve to see the light. Yet the moon light still managed to seep it's way through.

As I pressed my ear against the door, straining to hear any sound from outside, I realized something. I couldn't use my werewolf senses anymore. It was like I was cut off from that part of myself.

"He's gone," I thought to myself, my voice barely audible in the silent chamber. With a trembling hand, I reached for the door handle, hesitating for a moment before slowly pushing it open.
