Marcus the Hideous Boss

From the hospital, Becky went straight to Marcus & Co for joining as an internee as it's her first day.  She immediately took the route bus and quickly rush into it. When she reached the company, it was 11:00 am. She immediately goes towards the reception and takes her name.

" Hello I am Becky. I have talked with you about post pending my appointment. So here I am. 11 o'clock was my checking time". She said in one breath.

"Ms Bolt. Welcome to the company. You are lucky because Boss is on a leave for a few days. He has to go abroad for some meetings. So the formal session with CEO has to cancel. The receptionist informs Becky.

That was strange for Becky because she knows, where do Marcus and all the incident with his monsterous man become fresh in her mind. Why they are hiding about the Boss accident?.

She was about to ask about the reason but she got a call from Zina. 

" Hey Becky where are you? Today is your first day as an internee. How is all the things going? ". She asked with curiosity.

" I just reach here" Becky inform

" Hey are you fine? Lucy told me that you left so early. Why you reach late? where were you for the last 3 hours". Zina attack Becky with her series of questions.

"Relax Zina. Nothing serious. Its a long story and I have to check-in. I will share all details later. Right now I gotta go. See you in the evening". Becky disconnects her call and quickly move towards her department. 

The whole day was a formal introduction for all the internees, who have joined from different top universities. The competition is tough. All the students were top rankers of their institutes. From their trainer, they were informed that only successful trainee who complete 6 months in the company and progress excellently, would stay as a permanent employee and also will get raise in their salary. But working under Marcus is not a cup of tea. Various employees quit in between due to the strictness and ruthless nature of the CEO and his subordinates. It was a tough challenge in the human job world.

Marcus & Co are strict about their rules and regulations, which she got clear from the behaviour of the company trainers and employees. Everyone was discipline and focus on his work. They gave the internees badges to all the newcomers and the respective department tasks were assigned to each one of them. 

In the evening Becky was returning from the company when she got a call from an unknown number. She looked at the mobile screen in confusion. 

She ignores the call while waiting for her bus at the bus stop. The day was so tiring and challenging for her. She suddenly remembers the face of  Marcus which was covered in blood and while laying nearly dead on her lap. Her mobile flash again with an unknown caller Id. This time she received a call.

" Hello" Becky ask

" Is this Becky Bolt"? the voice inquire

" Yes, I am Becky, who is this? She asks again.

" I am calling from "Hearty hospital", you have come in the morning with a patient. I want to inform you that he is out of danger and we are shifting him to his room". The voice informed 

" Oh Thank God. Thanks for informing". Becky asked.

" Are you coming to visit your husband."? the caller ask Becky.

" He is not my husband. I don't know anything about him, well I will visit tomorrow". Becky inform.

 " I am sorry Mam, but you are the only eye witness and also bring him to the hospital. So we thought... I am sorry Mam, don't tell this to Boss. I will be fired". the voice now turns into nervousness.

"It's Ok. I will not say anything to anyone. Relax. Is anything, you want to talk about? " Becky asked

" No Mam, Thanks. Bye". the caller immediately disconnect the call.

Her bus arrives and she rushes to the bus while thinking about all the strange circumstances. Who is Marcus and why everyone is so scared of taking his name? And his monstrous men, they are not like a common human. They were more like a beast, who is ready to attack and torn every flesh of their Boss enemy.

Its been 5 days of the accident and still there is no updates and discussion about Marcus in his company. It seems everyone avoid taking his name. This is new for Becky but she remains silent and observes the changing gestures of the people at Marcus name. Every employee is so focused and busy in their world. During breaks, all go to their group of friends for lunch and came back in time. No one asked ever about the CEO of the company who is mysteriously hidden from the world. Only Becky know about him. Being the pure Goddess of earthy creatures, she wants to know the current situation of Marcus Ferguson. So she decided to visit him in the evening.

Alina visited Colt at his bakery. Colt looked at Alina in surprise. He feels so excited to see her. 

" Hey Colt" she greets him with a smile.

" Hey Alina. What a pleasant surprise. How do you know about my bakery". Colt ask

" Well, It's my best friends birthday so I want to order a rainbow cake for the party. I have heard that your bakery have the best cakes in town. So here I am". she replied.

" Waow thanks. Well just give me 5 minutes. I will note down your order". Colt immediately took out his pad to save the Alina order. 

" So, when would I pick the cake? Alina asked after sharing the details of her order. 

" Come at 6 in the evening. It would be ready by then". Colt informed by forwarding her order to the kitchen.

" Great I will see you then. Bye," Alina greet Colt and about to move when Colt stop her. 

" hmm Alina, we have the best coffee and other snacks as well. If you have time, you can taste yourself". Colt offers her shyly.

Alina smile at the way Colt tried to stop her. She accepts the offer and took the nearby table. 

Colt went inside and came back with snacks and two coffees. 

After few minutes of awkwardness and formal talk, Colt asked Alina.
