LEVIATHAN POV
"Breathtaking" Those were the only words I could use to describe Porsha. I have heard tales of her beauty but none comes close to the outer worldly beauty before me. She was like a rose in the desert, her beautiful face was flawless like pearls, her skin smooth and soft like the finest of silk. Her body was so tempting that if it was possible, I'll be willing to sell my own soul just to own her. My eyes locked into her mesmerizing electric blue eyes and I was completely overwhelmed, lost in the realm of the unknown. I came here for retribution but now all I want is to posses her. "Take your hands off me" He voice echoed through my thoughts, pulling me out of my daydream. I immediately release her, helping her to her feet, all the while my smile never leaving my face. She picked up her hat, placed in on her head. We stood there for a couple of minutes, neither of us wanting to speak first. Finally she opened her mouth but instead of thanking me, her face turned cold. "Aren't you going to apologize?" She asked, her face etched with anger. "Apologize?" I asked confused, a playful laugh emanating from the back of my throat, "What for? You should be thanking me" "I see you are not from around here" She said, her head hung high, as she circled me like a predator, "Where do you hail from servant?" This was an unusual sight for me, normally I was the one doing the intimidating and not the other way around, but I liked where this was heading and loved to see where it would lead to. "The Blood moon pack, princess" I answered simply. "Makes sense. Listen up servant, here it's a crime for a man who is not legally married to a woman to unveil her" She states, her gaze challenging. "My mistake princess" I informed with a small smile. Her gaze intensified on me, anger more evident than before. "So???" She said hinting at an apology. "If you are expecting an apology princess, I can't give you that" I said calmly, I refuse to lower myself to the level of apologizing to a mare woman. "And why not?" she asked, her voice thunderous. "Cause where I come from princess, we do not apologize to women" I answered coldly, clenching my jawbone, my anger shimmering just below the surface. "Women!!!" She exclaimed with a sarcastic laugh, and immediately switched to anger, "You're funny servant, I like that. But here in Vikland everyone has no choice but to show respect to the authority." "So you would have to respect me" She commanded, her eyes blazing with determination. I let out a chuckle not because she was funny but because for the first time in my life I was spoken down to by a woman. "I'm afraid I still can't do that, cause where I come from a female in power's life has the same value as an omega male" I quoted and she froze. It was true that according to her tradition a female is away less valuable that an ordinary male servant and although that is not practiced in my kingdom, I wanted nothing more than to put her in her place, which is graveling at my feet. "So you would not respect me because I am a woman?" She doubted. "Affirmative" I declared coldly and she smiles. She turned away and next thing I knew a slap connected to my cheek. I stumble sidewards, my eyes darkening for a few seconds as I tried to make sense of what just happened. Porsha slapped me, a 20 year old girl gave the dragon king his first slap. I looked up at her, my cheek hurting like I just got mobbed by a gang of thieves. She didn't look remorseful at all, instead she had this daring smirk on her face. My blood boiled, my heart raced. "Have I successfully earned your respect now?" She asked her voice hinting at laughter. I clutched my fist, trying to suppress my anger, the last thing I wanted to do was hurt that lovely skin of hers, but I wasn't going to let this insult slide, so I decided I'd get my revenge verbally. Flashing a small smile, I glanced at her and said, "For a woman you do pack a punch..." Before I could finish, another slap came crashing down, except this one was different, the power behind it was outer worldly. This time I didn't just stumble back, I fell to the ground. My mouth filled up with fluid and next thing I did is cough out blood. My eyes widen in shock as I gazed upon her commanding presence, she was like no woman I have ever seen before. "Princess, please let him go" Her servant pleaded, her tone empathetic. Porsha turned to her, her eyes blazing red as she clutched her jaw bone. "Not another word, this is between me and the servant boy" She said, turned towards me and ducked to my level. "Tell me handsome, did that one command your respect?" Even with a heavy heart and the pain of my dragon threatening to ripe my skin apart, I smiled back at her, my smile an extra opposite of what I truly felt from within. "Actually beautiful it did. In fact I think you are now worthy of carrying my kids" I said and her eyes immediately doubled in size. She rised to her feet, her face turned pale and expressionless for a couple of seconds as she tried to make sense of my words, next thing I knew her lips broke into a frown. "You're a sick human being" She insulted, turned around and began walking away but I wasn't quite finished with her, I needed her to know my exact plans for her, so I called out, "Princess" She stopped, all the while not bothering to turn to face me. "Before the week runs out, you would be on my bed, screaming out my name as I put my seeds inside of you" My words were directed to Porsha but instead she was the only one who didn't react, the rest of the market erupted in exclamation, and minor gossips. I rose to my feet, a smile on my face as I trailed her, stopping an arm's length behind her. It was finally time for me to ridicule her. "Why so silent princess, did that humble you....???" I questioned with a laugh, excitement welling up in my chest but once more, my happiness was short lived, as I was knocked off my feet by another hit from Porsha, except this time she carried out her assault with a log of wood over my left eyes. Blood oozed out as I fell to the ground groaning in agony . The pain was like nothing I had ever experienced before, upon all the battles I have fought and all the injuries I had acquired this was by far the most painful, probably because of the perpetuator. Porsha looked down at me, but instead of showing mercy, she turned to a group men and commanded them, "Grab him, give him 30 strokes of the cane for his insolence and throw him out of this pack. He is no longer welcome here" And with that she turned and walked out. The men did exactly as they were told, they grabbed hold of me and in under a few minutes they carried me to the border but instead of beating me like she requested, they just released me. At this point the bleeding had stopped, leaving just a scar and a blood clotted eye behind. "Farewell on your travels stranger, and please don't hold what our princess Porsha said or did to heart, sometimes she forgets that she is only a woman who has to one day submit to a man" The oldest of the men calmly explained, his tone considerate and pleading. His words although simple spark up a fire of redemption for his people. I might not have a heart but I do not rule with tyranny and I do know how to repay kindness. I gave the old man a simple nod of approval, my heart rate regulating itself back to normal. The oldman smiles at me, dropped a small pouch next to me and walked away with the rest of the group. Once they were out of sight, I open the pouch only to find a couple of bronze coins in it. The old man's gesture was not only thoughtful but kind. It made my anger subside reasonably. Maybe there was hope for Vikland after all, maybe their race didn't all deserve dead. Just then I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turn around and to my surprise it was none other than my right hand man, Clark. "Greetings your majesty" He said with a bowl, "I presume you have confirmed all the reports about Princess Porsha" "Indeed I have" I stated calmly, gently caressing a silver coin in my hand as I thought of the next course of action. "So what do you plan to do my king, wage war on Vikland?" He asked through gritting teeth, his eyes blazing red with rage. "Yes" I said still maintaining my tone, "But you are not to kill any innocent civilians" "Copy that king. Anything else?" He asked, his tone laced with eagerness to please. "Oh yes! I have a very important assignment for you" I said with a smile plaguing his interest. I moved closer to his ear, and whispered, "I want the head of princess Porsha's fiance, Ryder Vulgil" "Consider it done your majesty" He said, his face straight, not a hint of hesitation to be seen. "Perfect!!!" I exclaimed with a smile, as I gently tapped his cheeks. Just thinking of Porsha crying over the man she loves makes my heart skip with ecstasy. "Permit me asking my king, but of what use will killing Ryder Vulgil be to you?" He doubted, his voice trembling with fear. "A lot Clark, it's going to ensure that I get married to the most broken version of princess Porsha. Let's just see how a broken princess dares to challenge me" I stated with a deep laugh. ************************** PORSHA'S POVI woke up to a particularly lovely day, the sky was the most beautiful shade of blue and the sound of birds chirping echoed through out the palace. “Good morning my beautiful queen” Anne's voice boomed through the room,A tray of hair ornaments and makeup in hand.I laid back in bed, a sigh escaping my lips.“What is beautiful about the morning Anne?” I doubted, feeling down cast.I can't believe it has only been four days since I arrived at this hell hole. It feels like forty. I honestly don't think I could endure this any longer. “Oh! Porsha don't be like that” Anne said, taking a seat next to me on the bed, “Think about all the things you have to be thankful for”I immediately turn towards her, a curious frown on my face. “And what am I supposed to be grateful for?" I asked with a raised brow. “Is that even a question?" Anne questioned with a nonplussed expression on her face. “Didn't you wake up today? You're still beautiful, you have Empress Helen on
THIRD PERSON POV Porsha walked out of the prayer room, her breathing off as she strided towards Anne with red eyes. “Anne let's go" She commanded, her chest still hurting from Leviathan's bitter words, who did he think he was to humiliate, or threaten her like that. She wasn't scared of him, at least not as much as she did before. “Porsha what is wrong? Did his highness do anything to you?” Anne doubted with a raised brow.“What else hasn't he done, apart from threatening to kill me,” Porsha informed nonchalantly, her tone filled with disappointment.Anne's eyes widen, her tone alarmed, “You don't mean it" “My goodness! Why would his majesty say something as terrible as that to you?"“Cause that is how he truly feels. I bet he only married me to establish his dominance" Porsha said.“What did you say to him Porsha?" Anne questioned, a frown creeping to his face.“Nothing" Porsha answered, her blood boiling with rage.“That's impossible. I know his highness might be
LEVIATHAN'S POV I flickered my eyes open to the rays of the bright morning sun, the thought of my confrontation with Porsha rushing into my mind.I tried rising up from bed but I am stopped by a tight hold around my waist, it was Serafin, the concubine I spent the night with. Originally, I thought of going back to Cassandra's room but decided against it, when I remembered yesterday was a Saturday, her weekly handy down day and for Cassandra nothing was more important than running the harem. If I did go there, I would have been cast aside. “Permission to enter, your majesty” A masculine voice boomed from outside the room, pulling me from my thoughts. The voice was so loud that it woke Serafin from her slumber.“Greetings your highness" She said, trying to brush her tangled hair with her fingers, but I am not in the least impressed, to think she used to be my favorite once upon a time.“Good morning Serafin" I responded calmly.“Who is that?" She questioned, her voice no h
THIRD PERSON POV Matilda's laughter boomed across the room, her eyes watering from excitement as she told her personal servant, the scene she just witnessed. “Velma you should have seen them. Leviathan was furious he even threw Porsha to the floor, and threatened that he was going to kill all of her relatives” Matilda informed still cracking up, as she wiped off a tear drop from the side of her eyelid. “Goodness! that must have been terrible for poor queen Porsha” Velma said, her tone laced with a sprinkle of pity.“Come on Velma don't tell me you suddenly pity that woman. I advise you not to, she got exactly what she deserved” Matilda informed, her eyes gleaming with mischief, “Now, that Porsha knows exactly where she stands in this palace, and that is beneath my feet”“You can say that again queen mother. Congratulations on your victory” Velma said, her voice bubbling with excitement, “This calls for a celebration don't you think. Should I pour out some wine?”“Yes Velma
PORSHA POV I sat infront of my mirror, a dull ache still residing in my heart after the incident tonight.“Anne do you think what I did in the ceremony hall was bad?” I doubted turning to face Anne. My mind recently have been filled with doubts it like I can't do anything right, anymore.“Of course not Porsha. Infact you should be proud after all you saved his majesty from certain death” Anne explained, her eyes sparkling with sincerity but I had my doubts.“But that's not what everyone else thinks Anne. Did you see the disgust on their faces when they walked out” I informed, as their disappointed faces replayed in my head. They all hate me and I was only trying to do the right thing.“There were just surprised Porsha. In any case they only walked out because his highness did that first” Anne assured with a smile as she took my hands in hers.“I tell you what, his highness will be here any second now to thank you” She added and as though hearing her words. The room announcer
LEVIATHAN'S POV Cassandra's laugh boomed across her room like a raging storm. “Levi that woman dealt with you without even opening her mouth. I could see the fear in your eyes, it was as though you were going to faint” She said, her tone laced with mockery that it sent shivers down my spine. “Cassandra please do not add salt to my wounds” I beseeched her, as I gaggled down a glass of red wine. My blood boiling with rage as I recall everything. How defenceless I felt when Porsha pointed that arrow at my head, and how she deployed it in the guise of killing a snake. Yes indeed she killed it but she equally injured my ego in the process and there will be consequences. “But I am not doing anything your highness. Queen Porsha had inflicted not just salt but pepper to your wounds with her little act of trying to save your life. I mean she deliberately broke your law but ensured that you couldn't punish her since she did it for your sake” Cassandra commented, an amused smile e
