PORSHA POV
I walked into my bedroom my heart racing like a demented cow on the loose. Throwing away my hat, I took out my hair comb letting my hair fall freely as I clenched my fist in anger, trying to suppress the weight of my beating heart. I could still hear his voice echoing in my head, his touch still lingering on my skin. I was the one who injured that servant, I had the last laugh so how was I the one who fell uneasy, and threatened. "Permit me to say this princess, but what you did was uncalled for" Anne's voice tore through my thoughts. "What do you mean Anne, didn't you hear that man insult me?" I asked, nonplussed as I glanced at her. She should be on my side. Enough with all the gender inequality, we are all humans and should be respected equally depending on our status. "Insult you princess? you were being violent for no reason. This wasn't the first time you had been insulted by a man so why did this one make you lose all your composure?" She doubted, a worried frown etched on her face. She did have a point though, for the longest time I have had to defend myself against condescending men but not once have I done so through violence, so what was so different about this particular servant that made me defensive all of a sudden? was it the threatening aura I felt around him or the way he spoke, or the confidence radiating from his voice, or was it the fact that the moon goddess thought it would be wise to subdue me to the level of being fated to an ordinary omega?. Either way, I didn't regret my actions, he insulted me, and I put him in his place, and I wouldn't let anyone make me feel otherwise. "I did what I thought was right" I responded simply, there was no way I was going to make that servant anymore relevant than he already was. "Porsha that man saved you and instead of thanking him, you attacked him. Tell me Porsha how was that right" She demanded and I froze. Truth was, there was no justification for what I did. I felt insecure and decided to defend myself. "Pardon what I am about to say Porsha but I think your fight for equality has eaten up all your intelligence and now you are just a shadow of the honorable princess you once were..." She said in anger, her tone laced with condensation. Her words immediately took me aback, and I turned to her. "Enough Anne" I commanded, my blood boiling with rage "It appears that I have given you way too much freedom, but not anymore. You have no right to talk down to me, your princess. I do not know what relationship exist between you and that lowlife but you have no right what so ever to question my decisions" Her eyes widened and she immediately bowls on her knees. "Pardon my insolence Porsha. I didn't mean to disrespect you. I forever remain loyal to you" She apologized her voice trembling. "I don't want to hear it Anne. Leave my room" I interrupted, my chest swollen like it was about to explode. She glazed up at me, searching my face for possible answers and when she got whatever she was looking for, she rose to her feet, apologized once more and walked out. With her out of sight I slammed to my bed, gritting my teeth. My head hurting with unending thoughts as I reflected on his last words, "Before the week runs out princess you would be on my bed, moaning my name as I put my seeds inside of you." His words still brought goosebumps to my skin. “Where did he get such authority from?” I wondered staring aimlessly at my ceiling, that was when I head a knock. Knowing Anne, I bet she was here to offer me some tea, cause tea always calmed my anger, but not this time, I was going to teach her never to disrespect me again. "I am not interested in whatever you are offering" I said nonchalantly as I opened the door, only to come face to face with the last person I was expecting. "Ryder!" I exclaimed unconsciously, pulling him into a hug. His warm arms surrounded me like a wet blanket which immediately cools down the raging storm within me. "I miss you too princess" He said with a hoarse laugh. His words took me aback and I immediately pulled away. "Sorry. I don't know what came over me" I apologized abashed. It was thoughtless and unprincesslike of me to do that. "It's fine my love, I liked it" He said with a gigantic smile and my cheeks turned red from blushing. "Whatever" I said, casually striding back in and taking a seat on my king size bed, my heart racing with ecstasy. “So to what do I owe this visit?" I asked pretending not to care as I glanced at my nails, fixating on nothing in particular. He doesn't say a word instead he eyes locked on to my face for some reason. “What are you staring at, is something on my face?" I doubted, nervously touching my face for flaws. "No, you're perfect" He corrected, holding my hands in his, "Just that I have never seen you without your hat on, and your hair loose like that. You really look breathtaking" His flattering made my stomach flutter with butterflies. "Well yeah... I'm stunning" I teased with a smile, my checks burning with shyness. "Indeed you are stunning inside and out" He said with a chuckle, as he grabbed me by the waist, pulling me closer. "Ryder let me go. What would people say if they walk in on us like this” I beseeched, trying to pry his hands off, my heart racing as I scanned the room in a panic. He doesn't relent on his hold, instead he just tightened his grip around my waist, and increased his laughter. "They will ask us to get a room, because such behavior is not permitted at one's in-laws place" He said, plaguing my intrigues. My heart racing with anticipation. Ryder have been on a mission to acquire funds for our marriage. Did Ryder get my bride prides. "In-law's place? are you saying what I think you are saying?" I doubted a warm glow radiating in my chest. He smiles brightly, “Yes babe, I got the full bride pride and a little extra for the fashion house you want to open" I burst out laughing, "You're joking right? 5000 gold coins is a lot, I will understand if you needed to more time to raise it" He smiles, this time holding my hands instead, "You don't need to wait any longer wife. You have been patient enough with this poor fellow. I mean I have kept this beauty waiting for good nine months, it's almost sounding like a pregnancy" He said and we both burst into laughter, my eyes starting to well up with tears of joy. My heart at the verge of exploding. "I am sorry for making you wait this long" "It's not your fault Ryder, I understand that was quite an outrageous sum" I explained with a half hearted smile as I gazed upon his hard, blister full palms, “Did you get all of this from working hard to get my bride price?" I asked with a heavy heart, already knowing his answer. He doesn't answer directly instead he just smiled and said, "I told you I would do anything for you" Immediately his words hit my ear drums all the tears I was holding back, suddenly shut out. “Thank you so much. I don't know how I am even going to repay you" I said with gratitude, my chest heavy with excitement. No man has ever done this much for me not even my own dad. He pulls away, and gently raised my chin such that our eyes met, “You can repay me by always being yourself, make that fashion house of yours surpass all those men who look down on you and never let anyone defeat you” “I promise not to disappoint you" I said wiping off my tears with a small laugh. "That's what I want to hear" He said equally excited. "So, tell me how is operation gender equality going?" He asked in a bit to lighten up the mood and I excitedly join in, "Good actually. I have actually established some female training sites in..." I began speaking but got cut off by the sound of the war bell ringing. Panicked we both jumped out of bed. "What is happening?" I asked, my voice trembling with fear as Ryder took out his sword. "We are about to find out" He declared, as we both ran out the bedroom into the hallway. The hallway was packed with soldiers running heta skeeter. We finally get an audience with one of the palace guards. "What is happening?" Ryder questioned with urgency. "The kingdom is under attack by dragon king Leviathan and his army" He informed and I froze. Leviathan is here, but how. The trip from Ember nest to Vikland is a day's ride, so how was he here. Unless, unless he was already here. "Babe, I have to go" Ryder said with a determined voice. "I'll go with you" I offered, a feeling of unease radiating in my chest. "No need my love. I will handle it just take care of yourself for me, okay" He beseeched me, planted a kiss on my forehead and ran out with the guard. As I watched him disappear into the crowd my throat tightened, my heart felt heavy all of a sudden. A mysterious chill ran down my spine, it felt like something bad was about to happen but what. Just then Anne ran towards me, a tedious frown on her face, "Porsha there's trouble" She said in-between pants and my heart felt. "What happened?" I asked trying to stabilize my voice, while my heart raced. "Dragon king Leviathan.... Dragon king Leviathan is.... is the slave you assaulted in the market place" "What???" LEVIATHAN POVI leaned back in my chair, a smirk on my face as Clark read Porsha's letter, “...I shall patiently await your arrival, until then I forever remain your humble fiancee Porsha Bridget Helga” He concluded his reading, closed the scroll in his hand and handed it over.I clenched the scroll in my hand, quietly taking in her sweet Lemon-rosy scent as a smile began creeping to my lips.Who knew the almighty princess Porsha could lower herself to the level of writing a letter to me. It is at times like this that wish I could read."My king, what would your reply be? Should I send words that you wouldn't be able to make it?" He asked, his tone laced with displeasure. His brave assumption took me aback, so I turned to him, a confused frown on my face and asked the question that plagued my mind, “And why wouldn't I?" "Simple my king, you command people to come to you and not the other way around. What right does princess Porsha have to demand your presence?" He doubted, h
PORSHA POVI burst into a fit of laughter, as father's words hit my ear drums, “If this is a joke please stop it. I'm not crying anymore""Porsha we are serious" Dad informed, his voice thunderous, as a gigantic frown creeped to his face, “I have arranged a marriage between you and dragon king Leviathan tomorrow morning”My laughter immediately died down as I tried to stabilize my shaky feet. My heart raced as I stared between mother and father, who share the same troubling expression. "No, it can't be. That's not true" I yelled in a panic but still his expression remained unyielding. With trembling limbs, I rushed to my mother's side, took her hands in mine and asked the question that plagued my mind, “Mom tell me it's not true. Tell me dad didn't sell my hand off to the enemy of all werewolves?."Surly mom wouldn't lie to me, she wouldn't be part of something like this, or so I thought."It's true my dear. Dragon king Leviathan had captured our soldiers. He was going to
PORSHA POV "Are you sure of this piece of information, Anne?" I asked in a panic as I looked Anne straight in the eyes."Yes princess, I even have some eye witnesses who claim they saw him standing in the front lines, an eye patch on his left eye as he commanded his soldiers into battle" Anne declared and my blood ran coldI messed up and I messed up good, what was I thinking hitting that slave just because he spoke down to me. Couldn't I have just ignored him like I always do, maybe all of this could have been avoided."I suppose you think this attack is my fault?" I asked calmly expecting the worst as I took a seat on my bed. I'm very much aware that she blames me for everything. "No princess, not at all. I will never blame you for anything. It's not your fault that Leviathan was already in Vikland. He had at least a hundred soldiers with his, meaning the he had already planned this long before now. Nothing you said or did would have changed that" She explained to my surpr

LEVIATHAN POV"Breathtaking" Those were the only words I could use to describe Porsha. I have heard tales of her beauty but none comes close to the outer worldly beauty before me. She was like a rose in the desert, her beautiful face was flawless like pearls, her skin smooth and soft like the finest of silk. Her body was so tempting that if it was possible, I'll be willing to sell my own soul just to own her.My eyes locked into her mesmerizing electric blue eyes and I was completely overwhelmed, lost in the realm of the unknown.I came here for retribution but now all I want is to posses her. "Take your hands off me" He voice echoed through my thoughts, pulling me out of my daydream. I immediately release her, helping her to her feet, all the while my smile never leaving my face. She picked up her hat, placed in on her head. We stood there for a couple of minutes, neither of us wanting to speak first. Finally she opened her mouth but instead of thanking me, her face tu
THIRD PERSON POVLeviathan sat in his chair, his mind still foggy from the news he just received, his right hand man General Phillip was no more. Dead at the hands of a mare woman, princess Porsha of Vikland. Leviathan couldn't quite understand how this same woman he despised with everything in him, could cause him so much trouble.Porsha was just a woman like any other, all she was good for was sex, birthing children and taking care of the home. Granted she was blessed with immense charm but that wasn't enough reason for her to constantly threaten his peace. Her kind were the reason why his kind was extinct, it was because of her pathetic werewolf clan that he was now known as the last dragon. No more was he going to let things slight, it was about time he got his pound of flesh."Clark, prepare my horse. I would like to pay Vikland a visit" He commanded his voice thunderous as he clutched his fist, his crimson red eyes burning with rage.___________________Meanwhile i
