LOGINLUNA POV
Bryan has always been the sane one in the group, though aloof most times and sometimes looks arrogant, he has always been chill. "Let's park the bags, guys," Bryan said, looking all lazy, like he would rather be somewhere else other than here. The bags were parked and Liam chose to drive the car Bryan came with while Bryan sat at the back, and the boys would take the other car. Sitting beside the driver’s seat, Maya came from nowhere. “Liam, I want to sit beside you. I can’t sit at the back, you know I get car sick easily.” I murmured under my breath, why not just sit this one out or just take a flight to the venue. “Get down, can’t you hear me? I said get down.” I looked up only to see Liam’s scowling face. “Do you have to fight with Maya for everything? Don’t you know she would get sick if she sits behind?” I couldn’t say a word. What would I say? Maya always comes first and he made that clear before we started dating. If I complained, I would just end up getting him angry. If there was anything between Maya and me then you won’t be here, he would say whenever we had the conversation. I came down, taking the back seat and sitting beside Bryan while Maya sat beside Liam, feigning ignorance. “Liam, you don’t have to make Luna sit behind, she is your girlfriend, you know,” she said, glancing behind while giving a smile that always interpreted, see, you may be his girlfriend in name, but he is mine. “Maya, you are so generous, why can’t Luna be like you,” Liam scoffed, while Maya gave him a peck on the cheek. “You are so cute when you are angry,” Maya said while giggling. “Let’s go boys!” Liam screamed from the window while the car slowly rode from the driveway. “I think we should take one car and not two,” Maya said while looking at Bryan and Liam. While Bryan ignored her, Liam replied, “Why dear?” “We won’t have fun in separate cars so let’s stop at any car rental and rent.” “Ok,” Liam said without thinking about it. Pulling up at the rental, Liam and Maya went in to do the formality while holding hands like a couple. “Hey, how is your arm?” “Huh?” “Your arm, it could get infected. Let me treat that for you.” Looking up, Bryan was holding a first aid kit. “How did you get that?” I asked, surprised he had a medical kit with him. “Let me treat that,” he said without even replying to my question. He was cleaning the burn with a poker face while being so gentle at the same time. When I even winced in pain, he blew on it but wouldn’t say a word. I felt my heart flutter. He was being gentle and caring. “Handsome,” I murmured within. He is breathtaking, wonderful physique, perfect nose line, gray eyes… oh my goodness, his perfect jawline. “Back to earth, Luna,” I heard his soft voice. “Why are you gaping at me? Is there something on my face?” “No… no, I was thinking about someone—no, something,” I stammered. What was I thinking? Staring at my boyfriend’s friend like that just because of a little kindness. Am I that desperate? “You must be thinking of someone or something important, and I’m sure that person is lucky you are thinking about them,” he said with a grin. OMG, he is smiling. I could count how many times I saw him smile. My face turned red. “No, no, I didn’t say it was a person, I… I… I just—” “All done. And you don’t have to explain yourself, princess.” Princess? My heart skipped. Why would he call me that? “Princess?” I asked. “Every girl is a princess and a queen to her king. Liam would be out soon,” he said before alighting from the car, going round and opening the door for me. “Thanks,” I said shyly. He didn’t reply as he went back to his stoic face, as Daniel approached. All chattering, the car would be ready, and there was no car available right now that could take both our highness’s many luggages and us, so we would take my car for the luggage, and the rental we would all be in it together. We would also have to hire someone to drive it since the goal was to spend time together and have fun, so here we are. “Ok,” Bryan said with just one word. And Daniel kept quiet. “Ok, let’s offload the bags and put them in the other car.” Moving aside, Daniel, Eric, Richard, and Bryan took a suitcase each, while I tried to help. Bryan just said, without even looking at anyone in particular, “Let the men do this.”They eventually stepped out of the bathroom, skin warm and relaxed, the tension from earlier completely washed away. Bryan pulled on his clothes from the prevous day before heading briefly to his own room to change properly into fresh clothes. Luna slipped into something simple and confortable. By the time Bryan returned, her hair was still slightly damp she was still drying it with a small dryer. He paused for a moment at the doorway, just watching her. “You look… beautiful with your hair damp,” he said quietly. “Thanks,” Luna replied with a small smile. Not long after, Maria knocked, followed by another maid carrying breakfast trays. They set everything up neatly, wished them a good morning, and left them alone. Bryan had called maria when he was in his room to bring breakfast to Lunas room. They ate slowly, talking about nothing important small things, silly things enjoying the rare luxury of having time without pressure. With the wedding set for 5 p.m., the entire day str
The soft morning light slipped into the room, brushing against Luna’s skin as she stirred awake. Her body ached in places she didn’t know could ache, but it was a good kind of ache it was warm and satisfying. She blinked slowly, adjusting to the light… And realized she was lying on Bryan’s chest, his arm wrapped protectively around her waist. He wasn’t asleep but was staring at her. Luna smiled lazily. “Why aren’t you sleeping?” Bryan didn’t even pretend to deny it. “I was making sure you don’t run away again.” Luna’s smile froze; her brows pulled together in confusion. “Run away? Why and When… did I run away?” Bryan said it casually. “In Vegas. The night of the reunion, we had sex; you ran away immediately you woke up, you didn't even wait for me to leave the bathroom so we can speak about it.” Luna’s entire expression changed instantly. Her eyes widened as her jaw dropped. The anger hit hard. “You— you knew?” she snapped, sitting up abruptly. “You knew I was the one?
Warning: This chapter has sexual content. Viewer discretion is advised.A moan escaped Luna’s lips as Bryan cupped her breast with one hand while her fingers tangled in his hair. His large hand on her back filled her with a kind of pleasure she didn’t know could exist, his fingers tracing circles as he nibbled on her neck.Bryan’s hand moved from her back, tracing down her waist and to her thigh, lifting it slightly to his hip.“Tell me, princess… do you want me?” he asked roughly. “Do you want me inside you?”Luna couldn’t speak. She just stared at him lustfully, her eyes filled with passion, desire, and need. She could feel how much he wanted her—he was so hard she felt him pressing against her stomach. Looking into his beautiful grey eyes, she saw only lust and burning fire in them, which sent heat pooling in her stomach. She could feel how wet she had become. She was horny—desperately horny. She needed him as much as he needed her.A small, breathy “yes” escaped her lips. Her resp
“Well, well, well…Who do we have here?”“If not my prodigal lap rat,” Maya said as she came down from the remaining flight of stairs.Luna just stood frozen on seeing Maya. She hadn’t expected to run into Maya now of all times. Now wasn’t the best time—she was supposed to bathe and dress up for Bryan, not face her fears.“I always knew you would come running back. You poor people always do. And this dress—did you use your last cash to get it? To look pretty for Liam?” Maya said, mimicking a child.“I’m not here for you or Liam. I live here.”Maya gave a loud, mocking laugh.“Oh, you wish, but that’s not possible. Even in your next life, you won’t be able to live in the Blackwood mansion,” Maya said, glaring at Luna like a predator checking its prey.“Or…” Maya said, beaming like she just found the solution to cancer. “You work here as a maid. That’s the only logical reason why the security would let you in. Bryan’s security isn’t that weak to let just anyone in—especially a lowlife l
Luna’s heart raced in her chest. Bryan had just said he wanted her here in his care. The windows were tinted. The car was pulled into a quiet corner. And Bryan’s hands were warm against her thighs as she straddled him, her dress riding dangerously high. Her breath trembled. “Bryan…” she whispered, weakly protesting even though her hands were already gripping his shoulders. His lips ghosted over hers. “Don’t say my name like that unless you want me to lose control,” he murmured, voice deep… rough… hungry. He was patiently waiting for her to give him a go ahead to claim her as his. Luna swallowed hard. She had missed this his warmth, his closeness, his scent wrapping around her like a drug. She leaned closer, resting her forehead against his. “Someone might see…” she whispered. Bryan smirked, eyes dark. “No one will,” he replied. “And even if they do, I don’t care.” Her cheeks heated. He kissed her again, slow at first, then needy, devouring, claiming. His hand slid u
The next day, Luna woke up and got dressed in something casual. They weren't going to the office today. Taking a deep breath, she stepped out of the room, heading downstairs. When she reached the dining room, Bryan was the only one there. “Where is everyone?” she asked. “They’re probably still sleeping from the hangover… or they didn’t come back last night,” Bryan said as he stood up and pulled a chair out for her. After breakfast, Luna perked up a bit and asked, “Can we go dress shopping? I want something new for the wedding.” Bryan stared at her for two seconds, then decided to tease her. “I thought you said you can’t wear all the clothes we bought last time even in two lifetimes. I also remember you swore never to buy clothes again.” “Bryan…” Luna called his name, her ears turning red. “That’s different. This is a wedding, and it’s for the elite. I don't want to stand out. And I would pay for it myself.” “Fine,” Bryan said with a wicked grin. “Why are you grinning like
