Elijah

“Daddy wakey up.” Owen said as he straddled my body early in the morning. I moaned as I ignored those fragile tiny hands that was putting a lot of effort into waking me up.

“You have to try harder than that son.” I said as he pouted before he climbed down from my body.

I smiled in triumphant as I grabbed a pillow to replace my son’s position when I heard a loud cry.

I sat up as Owen screamed with all his might as I covered my ears and stared at him.

“I’m up! I’m up!” I replied before Owen stopped screaming and I got down from the bed.

He was laughing really hard before dad grabbed him and lifted him from his hips and placed on his shoulders.

“It’s nice to see you have returned. The council has been anxious about your activities these days, why so?” Dad asked as I carried my son away from his arms.
