Lucille’s POV

“Let go of me!” I struggled but that did not make him waver.

We made a stop but I couldn’t make out where we were. The path was pitch black. I tried to scream as he fumbled with a door but he dropped me from his shoulder to his arms.

The movement was too fast that my scream sank down my throat and my hands came around his neck to keep me from crashing to the ground.
