DANIEL POV

I watched as Maya didn't leave Lisa's side, always holding her hands and walking everywhere with her.

Now in my living room she made me sit far from my babygirl, while she sat with her. I don't know if I'm furious, annoyed or calm. Now I had to stand and walk to the window side to calm myself and my thoughts down.

“Are you sure about this? It's not that I'm doubting you but, for fucksake it's uncle Ben.”

“I was as shocked as you are, but not anymore. I've seen so much to ignore now.”

I watched Maya grip Lisa's hands tighter in an assuring manner when I should be doing it, and that's when I snapped,

“Okay, okay, we get it. You missed her and she missed you too, but having her all to yourself isn't fair plus it's my job to do so not you.” I quickly said before I could hold myself back.

Everyone looked at me with shocked and surprised expressions at my sudden outburst. Especially Mark, he was on the phone as he stared at me with a weird look.
