Chapter 2

"What happen?" 

 "Sean Preston and his employees are crazy" Amelia snap not caring if the men in front of her are listening.

 "Why do you say that?" 

 "The interview is nothing but a means for Sean Preston to get a slut" 

 "What do you mean? Were you assaulted or..."

 "Assault might have been better. The interviewee kept asking personal questions...like when last did I have my period? What's the size of my b**bs? Am I single...though I am, but putting that aside. It was a mess!"

 "Are they running a brothel there?" Lucy demand.

 "They might, judging by the dirty things Sean Preston ask his employee to do"

 "You know, I thought Sean is a decent man, but he's nothing but a dirty, slimy, disgusting man who's indecent and immoral" 

 "I could add a few more to it, but I will like to do it when we meet. You start your part time job by one right?" Lucy ask.

 "Yeah" 

 "Let's meet at the cafe close to my workplace around eleven" 

 "Sure I will be there to vent out my frustration on Sean Preston with you" Amelia end the call noticing the two men in the lift starring at her.

 "I'm sorry if I was too loud and disturbed your ear with my insults, but you must admit that Sean Preston deserve it" She said to the two men while folding her arms against her chest

 While the short one two men cleared his throat, the other one who happen to be very attractive stared at her in silence.

 "I agree with you. Mr Preston deserves the insult. You see I work in the account team and I can tell you how much of a douchebag he is" The very attractive guy spoke

 "I'm glad I'm not the only one who insults him. Anyway, cursing your boss is a good way to relieve stress, you should do it more often or better yet just quit. Working for a man without moral is a no no" she add as the lift door open.

 "I think this is where I get off. It was nice venting out our frustration on Sean Preston together" she add, smiling at them before walking off.

 The lift door slid shut and the short man standing next to the very attractive one tried so hard to hold in his laughter.

 "If you dare laugh then you are likely to find yourself jobless" the attractive guy warn and the smile hovering on the short guy face vanish.

 "What's your order for that lady, sir? If you want, I can send some men to break her bones...how dare she call you names? I bet she have no idea you are Sean Preston himself!" Jeremiah, Sean assistant said in a rush.

 "She mention something about an interview?" Sean ask softly, a little deep in thought.

 "Yes. If my guess is right then it must be the surrogate interview" Jeremiah reply as the lift door open to the company parking lot.

 "And have Peter been able to find me a surrogate?" Sean ask as he head to his car while Jeremiah follow closely.

 "Well, I will have to call Peter and ask him about it since the interview is still ongo..."

 "Notify Peter and tell him to end the interview then find a way to contact that girl from the elevator" 

 "Contact her?" 

 "Yes" Sean stop next to his car to stare at Jeremiah as he speak. "I want her as my surrogate" 

 "O...what?!"

 "Did they really ask all that?" Lucy question as she take a sip of her coffee.

 "Yes and to think I was going to work for such a company " Amelia reply, stabbing into her cake with the fork in hand.

 "Well, I'm glad we got to know their agenda before you started working there and to be sincere with you, I'm very happy that you didn't get the job" Lucy said and seeing that look on her face, Amelia knew just what her reason is.

 Her elder sister, Martha Gates once worked at Preston, but she committed suicide five years ago...thinking about what she and Queen had to go through when Martha died made her anger vanish to be replace by bitterness.

 Things wouldn't be this hard for Queen and her and if Martha didn't kill herself five years ago.

 "You don't have to worry, Lucy. I am not Martha. I won't ever succumb to pressure and end up killing myself while leaving my love ones in misery" Amelia said, taking a sip of her coffee while Lucy stare at her with worry filled eyes.

 Martha's death had been very painful for Amelia. Not only did her death force an eighteen year old to grow up, it also put a whole lot of burden on her shoulder, Lucy thought as she pick up Amelia hand from across the table to give it a gentle squeeze.

 "I'm here for you, always" Lucy assure and that earn her a gentle nod from Amelia.

 Later that day, Amelia got back home to see her front lawn covered in three black Mercedes.

 She's still wondering who could have it when the door burst open and Queen came of the house.

 "Amelia some men are here to see you" she said as four men file out of the house towards them.

 "What's going on? Are you from the bank? I thought they decided to give us an extend on the mortgage so why..."

 "We are here on behalf of Mr Preston" Jeremiah said earning her attention.

 "You do recognise me, right? At the elevator, this morning" Jeremiah said.

 "I do. You were with that attract..." Amelia pause, clearing her throat. " What can I do for you Mr..."

 "Jeremiah

Blake and like I said, I'm here on behalf of Mr Preston cause you have been chosen to be his surrogate, Miss Gates" Jeremiah announce leaving Amelia and her sister speechless......
