The tearful screams of Atlas jolt me awake.

My chest rises and falls in panic, fear holding me. My eyes well with tears… what is my baby going through? What are those monsters doing to him?

“Why don’t you close your eyes and find out…” A voice whispers coldly.

I freeze, scanning the room.

No one’s here, no shadows or movement.

“Don’t worry…” the voice hisses again.

“Just do as you’re told.”

A chill runs down my spine. I take a shaky breath… and shut my eyes.

“Atlas.” I gasp, clutching my chest.

My baby is tied to a metal chair, surrounded by fire.

He’s sobbing, screaming for me.

The chair is so hot it’s burning his skin.

I snap my eyes open, leaping from the bed.

“Show yourself!” I scream, tears streaming down my face.

And then, he appears.

It's him! The same man who haunts my dreams. The monster behind all this madness… it's Vesper.

“Hello… my sweet possession,” he purrs, lips curling into a slow, venomous smirk.

“It’s nice to finally meet you.”

“Lucy… this is dangerous! You need to be extra careful!” Ragna’s voice pops into Lucy’s head. “What you’re about to do is something no one has ever done.” “Trust me, Ragna. I can do it,” Lucy says with steady assurance. “Just relax… and give me all your mind.” “Finally!” Vesper chuckles darkly. With a snap of his fingers, the cave’s lights blaze to life. It’s a massive, ancient cavern. The air smells of blood, sacrifice, darkness… and evil forces. “Get ready,” Lucy urges. Ragna focuses. “Hey, Vesper!” she shouts, hatred filled in her voice. His eyes widen. “How dare you call me—” Before he can finish, she throws the black seeds in his face, making him freeze—locked in place. “What have you done to him?!” Andrew roars. She turns and throws the same seeds at him. He stiffens instantly. “Today is the day of reckoning!” she cries, voice cracking with anger. “I will destroy you in the worst way possible!” “What do you think you’re doing?!” Vesper snaps, thrashing against the

~Lucy~ I’m burning with pain, burning with anger. Vesper and his father will pay for everything they’ve done to us, even if it’s the last thing I do. But no… I won’t kill them, but I won’t let them live either. They murdered my parents, stole my childhood, erased everything I could’ve been… If my bloodline hadn’t been wiped out. And Rhett, a soft sigh escapes me. He’s lived a nightmare since the day he was born. He’s never for himself, always for others. Always protecting, always sacrificing. And now, after all this time… He learns the truth. He’s beyond crushed, but he doesn’t break, he isn't full of rage, he doesn’t become like Vesper. Despite the darkness, he still loves, he still cares…. still lives for others. And that is what makes him stronger than any curse. And I can’t believe that these years… I despised him for something that was never truly his fault. “Rhett,” I whisper, cupping his face in my palms. “Why are you holding it back? Let it out. I’ll listen to your

“When the spirit was transferred into your body,” Olias continues, voice tight, “The Devil ordered his men to kill you—so the spirit would die with you.” He swallows hard, the lump in his throat nearly choking him. Lucy’s brows furrow. “So how did he end up in the ShadowMoon pack then?” A quiet voice answers. “I think I can explain that,” Elder Wino says, stepping forward. He looks at Rhett, then at Alpha Kai. “The former Luna of the ShadowMoon pack… she suffered from infertility,” Wino begins, voice trembling. “She was under immense pressure to give the Alpha an heir. Afraid she’d lose him to another woman—her best friend at the time—she faked a pregnancy.” Gasps echo through the room. Wino breaks into tears. He’s carried this secret for years. He had sworn to the Luna, on his life that he’d never reveal it. “She deceived everyone,” he says, voice cracking. “Even the greatest mage who came to check her pregnancy. She used illusion spells, potions, and blood magic to mask the

The pack house looks like something out of a dream. Gigantic— beautiful buildings rise from the soft green hills, their white walls glowing under the sunlight. The roofs sparkle like they’re sprinkled with stars, and the windows shine like little pieces of glass catching the light. Everything is clean, quiet, and perfect. Smooth roads wind through the land, lined with tall trees that sway gently in the breeze. Bright flowers bloom along the paths, and the air smells like pine and fresh rain. Birds sing in the distance, and the sky is so blue it doesn’t even look real. Rhett stands still, staring. His eyebrows pull together—not because he’s confused, but because he knows this place. It’s just like the pack house from his favorite book when he was a kid. As soon as they step out of the car, the world shifts. The air is cooler here, softer, like it’s been waiting just for them. Gravel crunches under their shoes as they walk toward the pack house, its tall white walls glowing in the su

Magnus’s heart sinks. Heat rushing through him. He knows what he did. Every life lost tonight… it’s on him. Vesper couldn’t have done this without his help. “W… what are you talking about?” he stammers, lips trembling. “You brought the Uhmbrayth,” Kai growls, voice rising. “You gave it to her! Why would you do that?” Magnus jolts. “What?” Rhett’s voice is low and deadly. “You did this?” he snarls, lunging at Magnus. “I didn’t know!” Magnus yells, stumbling back. “I’m going to kill you!” Rhett roars, slamming his fist into Magnus’s jaw. “Son, let him go,” Kai says softly. Rhett freezes mid-swing. Son? The word hits him, sending a chill running down his spine. “Who are you?” Rhett asks again, voice shaking. “Don’t worry,” Kai says, eyes glistening. “I’m only here to help you.” Rhett stares at him. Then a shaky breath escapes him, his knees weak. The man’s eyes… They’re his eyes, the same shape, same fire. They almost look alike… the eyes… they’re unmistakable. “Alp
