LOGINGlinda's POV
For the first time ever, I walked through school without being bullied. Everyone kept their distance, watching me as I left.
Maybe Kevrian’s offer wasn’t so bad. Dating the Alpha Heir could mean peace…no one would dare touch me, except maybe Cressida, the Beta’s daughter.
But even then, I was sure Kevrian would handle it. If I agreed, I could finally graduate in peace.
I arrived at the packhouse, sneaking through the back as I tried to avoid Kevrian and Ethan.
I succeeded in making it to my room, the smallest part of the house, one could say it was an attic that had a bed in it.
I had my bath then went to do my chores. I barely had time to do anything when an omega walked into the garden I was clearing and said, “Glinda, the Luna wants to see you.”
“Okay.” I dropped my cleaning material then went to the Luna's dressing room, a place where she mostly spent her time. I knocked once before going inside. I smiled. “Good afterno…
Before I could finish my sentence, a heavy slap that sent me crashing against her vanity table landed across my face.
A few bottles broke, piercing into my skin and my eyes watered with tears. “L-luna?” I called, my tone coming out in a broken whisper as I looked up at her in surprise.
Luna Sarah had never laid her hand on me, ever. She treated me like her own daughter and had scolded Kaivrian multiple times in the past for bullying me.
Her husband, the Alpha did not care about me and only took me in out of obligation when he found me in the forest, but Luna Sarah had made me feel welcomed.
So having her slap me for the first time in years didn't just surprise me, it broke me.
“How dare you Glinda?! How dare you?! Have I not done enough?! How dare you get involved with my son?! How did a wench like you seduce him?!” She barked, her voice filled with venom.
Luna Sarah had always been soft and carried herself with grace. Seeing her in such a state scared the hell out of me.
Before I could say a word or try to explain myself, she grabbed my hair, almost ripping it off my scalp as she forced me to look into her eyes. “Tell me, did you really kiss Kevrian?” Oh my goodness. How did she hear about it?
Luna Sarah's grip tightened, nails digging into my scalp. “Answer me, omega,” she growled, the word “omega” spat like the worst insult she could muster. “Did. You. Kiss. Him?”
“Y-yes.” I said, my voicing coming and small and trembling.
The single word hung in the air like a death sentence and at that moment, I thought I would pee my pants as her eyes narrowed to slits.
She was shifting! She was going to rip me apart!
I yelped, screaming in pain as she shoved me aside and I landed on the broken bottle. She paced around for a while, muttering words about disgrace, lowclass, social ladder and other things I couldn’t make out, then she turned to face me again.
She pointed at me. “I don’t care what happened between you two or how you seduced my son in less than twenty four hours after his arrival, but I want you to go to his room now and end whatever nonsense you have started with him!”
I hesitated, as I was too shocked to process or say anything. However, she lounged at me and sent a heavy slap across my face as she screamed, “Go!”
And that was exactly what I did. I ran out of the room, tripping a few times until I reached Kevrian’s room.
He asked me what happened, I told him and before I could understand what was going on, he began dragging me to Luna Sarah's dressing room.
“S-stop. W-wait. w-what are you doing?” I tried to reason with Kevrian as I had a bad feeling that he was going to do something crazy but he paid no attention to me and kept dragging me, his anger boiling over like a dark storm.
He didn't even knock and just pushed the door open. Luna Sarah smiled proudly at his presence then started walking towards him, totally ignoring me. “My son, it's true you're back. Why didn't you come to your mother?...”
“Don’t.” Kaivrian interrupted, voice hard as steel as he released my wrist and wrapped his arm around my waist, pulling me against his side in a possessive way that made my already racing heart stutter.
His body radiated with protectiveness and something darker, more primal than I’d ever felt from him before. “Don’t you ever lay a hand on Glinda ever again!”
Luna Sarah's eyes widened, genuine shock replacing her earlier happiness. “Kevrian, listen to me. This is madness. You know your father. The Alpha will never approve of his heir’s entanglement with…with an omega. She’s beneath you. She’s—”
“She’s mine, mother.” he snarled, the sound vibrating through his chest and into me. The air in the room thickened, heavy with his aura.
It pressed down on me like a storm cloud, electric and suffocating, stronger than anything I’d ever sensed. It surpassed even the Alpha’s own.
Goddess why was he so mad?!
Why was he acting like he truly cared about me?! Was he simply trying to show me that he would be able to pull off the fake dating stunt?!
The Luna swallowed hard and for the first time in my life, I witnessed fear in her golden eyes. Real fear. Of her own son.
Kevrian turned his head slowly, locking his gaze on mine. Those stormy red eyes softened for a fraction of a second, just for me before hardening again as he looked back at his mother.
“I’m saying this for the last time,” he uttered, voice dropping to a deadly whisper, “Do not ever lay a hand on Glinda again. Do you understand me?
Luna Sarah opened her mouth to speak, but it seemed as though words failed her as she closed it back. She looked smaller now and at that moment, I knew I didn't need to be told that she wouldn’t tell the Alpha a thing.
Without another glance at her, Kevrian scooped me up in a princess carry, effortless, like I weighed nothing.
My arms instinctively looped around his neck as he strode out of the dressing room, kicking the door shut behind us with a final, resounding bang.
He didn’t speak until we reached his room where he set me gently on the edge of his massive bed, then knelt in front of me, hands framing my face as he searched for injuries.
His brow furrowed in confusion. “You’re all healed Glinda. How is that possible?”
I didn’t reply as I was lost staring at him. When did he get more handsome?
“Glinda?”
“O-oh. It started on my sixteenth birthday. I noticed that I started to heal very fast.”
“Hmmm. That is strange. Only Alphas or wolf with Alpha blood can heal that fast.” He said, more to himself as he scanned my body, probably checking to see if he missed anything.
“W-why did you protect me? Why did you do that?” I asked out of nowhere and my heart skipped a beat as he looked up at me.
Arggh, in less than twenty four hours since Kevrian returned, it already felt like my heart would explode.
He didn’t answer right away as his eyes dragged slowly down my body. “I wanted you to see,” he finally said, voice low and steady, “What your life would look like if you ever made the mistake of falling for me after agreeing to my proposal.”
His thumb brushed beneath my chin, forcing my gaze back to his. “I’m the future heir. Every move I make is watched. We can’t be together, at least not for a long time.” I don't know why, but it sounded like he only said half the truth.
“But with Ethan,” he continued, tilting his head slightly, studying my reaction. “You two can be together. No one will care. No pressure. No whispers.”
His finger lingered on my chin, his gaze darkening. “So, kitten, that was a reminder…don’t fall for me.”
I scoffed, shyly looking away. “I never said I would. E-ethan is the one I love.” The words had barely left my mouth when he moved.
One second there was space between us, the next, he was over me. I gasped as he braced himself above me. “That’s my kitten,” he murmured, his breath warm against my ear, sending a shiver down my spine. “I just hope you remember these words.”
From the corner of my eye I suddenly spotted the hockey stick leaning against the wall “A-are you thinking of joining the team?” I asked softly, scared to move an inch as we were so close to each other that I could feel my lips against his own. “I-I thought you weren’t interested.”
Kevrian followed my gaze, then turned back to me with a slow, wicked smirk. “I don’t just want to join, Kitten. I want to be captain.”
I gasped. “Ethan has been captain since forever. He'll be furious.”
“Exactly.” His eyes darkened with purpose. “His anger is exactly what we need.” Before I could respond, he rolled his hips against mine, slow, deliberate, grinding just enough to make heat flood between my legs. His thigh pressed firmly between mine, giving me something to rock against.
I whimpered, already soaking through my underwear as his fingers teased under my skirt, circling my coochie. “So wet for me already,” he whispered against my ear, nipping the lobe.
I arched, trembling, thighs slick and shaking. I wanted more. But, he pulled away completely. I stared up at him, aching, lips parted in silent protest, my body screaming for more.
He traced my jaw, smirking at my desperate expression. “I’ll give you more…but only after you agree to our deal.”
Oh no, not that. I was still confused. Still overwhelmed by everything. I still needed time.
“I have to go.” I said and gently pushed him off me. My face was so red and I knew that if I spent another second there I could explode.
I stumbled out on shaky legs, core clenching and his low chuckle echoing behind me. I had not even made it far out of the room when I hit something. No, someone.
“E-ethan?” I called. Surprised to see him there.
“We need to talk.” Before I could utter another word he grabbed my hand and began leading me to his room.

Kaivrian’s POVAfter sealing my request with a kiss on her cheek, I left the abandoned classroom in hopes that Glinda would accept my proposal soon. She had to. I made my way to the private parking lot where I packed my Kawasaki Ninja H2 black bike. As I drove, I couldn't stop thinking about Glinda and the little moments we shared. Fuck, for the first time in my life, I was looking forward to something. To her…to all of her. Soon I arrived at the park house, parked my bike, and went up to my room. I had not even spent up to two minutes in there before the door flung open and Ethan stormed in, face red as a volcano. “What is the meaning of that stunt you pulled in school today, Kevrian?!” He barked. “First of all, don't ever barge into my room like that,” I replied, voice cold as ever. I lazily leaned against the wall, one leg crossed over the other before adding. “What stunt are you talking about? Kissing my girlfriend Glinda? That's not a stunt bro.” He scoffed, his eyes fill
Glinda POV“K-kaivrian?” I asked, still unable to believe that he was truly there. Kaivrian was the definition of handsome, a guy I once thought was created by the goddess herself. He had jet black curly hair that framed his face perfectly, a chiseled chin, perfectly pointed nose, a lip so perfect on his face, and then his eyes…his unique red eyes, deep and dangerous, like a secret you shouldn’t want to uncover but can’t resist chasing anyway.“You just confessed your love for my brother, yet you can't take your eyes off me huh?” He teased, though his voice was slightly cold, just as it had been years ago. However, there was something different about the way he was looking at me at that moment. There was something in his eyes. Lust? Hunger? I honestly couldn't tell. My face burned red as I blinked and moved back. “I-i'm sor..“Hush.” He placed his finger on my lips and goodness, my body reacted to such a small gesture. “I liked it.”“Huh.”“I enjoyed the kiss, Glinda, so don't apol
Glinda’s POV First day of senior year, and I’ve decided to confess to the love of my life. Ethan Hawk…second son of Alpha Hawk, of the Blackstone pack, and the boy every girl at high school would gladly lose her mind over. I’ve loved him since I learned how to spell my name. Today, he’s finally going to notice me. He has to.I straightened my back, tugged at the edges of my blazer, smoothed my skirt, adjusted my big glasses, then I threw in a mint in my mouth and began walking towards him. “H-hi Ethan.” He didn't hear me at first, or maybe he did, but chose to ignore me as he spoke to the girls fawning over him while leaning against his locker. “Hey Ethan?” I called again, voice a little louder as I chuckled nervously. He finally looked at me, “What?” “I-I want to speak with you. C-can we have a moment?” I asked, hoping for privacy. “No Glinda, please go straight to the point. I'm all ears.” His tone was calm, almost amused, like he already knew I was about to make a fool of m
