Cassie's POV

The rest of the day went by uneventfully. Almost. Though the rumours continued to circulate around the school, business went on as usual. By afternoon, the rumours had come to a lull. But I had a feeling it wouldn't last long, like the silence before a storm.

Midway through the Media Law and Ethics lecture, a commotion was heard just outside the lecture room.

The door burst open suddenly and in walked a few members of the Snow Bear team in their varsity jackets. Ledger led the group, unsurprisingly. I should have known that the delinquents in question would be his clique. It appeared they had just returned from a team meeting.
