Chap_18. Uncomfortable Irritation

As much as Eden tried to hide her teary eyes from Damien, he had already seen it clear. And a not so wanted feeling settled in his guts.

Damien drove roughly all the way to his penthouse as the same thoughts crossed his mind.

He shouldn't have asked her the question not at least when she had already answered the question in front of her parents.

Not when she was still trying to meet his irrelevant demand.

But he knew Hoult. If he had taken it this far to throw it open to him, he wasn't joking or something. And the way he had seen Eden approaching him, she would gladly accept him most probably.

Eden never seemed to give a damn about him. So, there was no way she approached him being jealous of seeing him with a girl. He couldn't be the reason behind her behavior from that night.

Did Eden just fall for Hoult at first sight? Did she? But he was also a billionaire playboy just like him. Then?
