The cold rain fell on his body, harsh and strong. His eyes didn’t move away from my window. I stood by my window, my eyes looking down at him, my heart aching as I saw him standing out there under the cold brutal rain that had refused to stop.

It’s been a week since I stopped talking to Jake. He has called me several times, but each time, he has refused to tell me why he left me there. Since he wasn’t ready to tell me, I had no reason to see him.
